So Surprised!!
Ok, I'm an Amazon prime member, yet have never left a product review in my life. This is my first review ever, and it's because this product is just that great in quality and price.$22 is not that cheap, to begin with. If you take a look at markets out there, you will find easily other scarves at cheaper prices. However, for this product, I believe $22 feels very cheap!I bought BORDEAUX and LILAC for my boyfriend and for myself. BORDEAUX is a little less red than the pictures and lilac looks just right in the pictures. BOTH COLORS are so gorgeous and rich, I was so pleased. Also, the thickness was just right! It's not thin and sort of transparent like those cheap scarves out there, but has the right level of thickness as thin enough to scrunch and form it prettily around your neck and thick enough to keep you warm and not transparent. I used it as a blanket at the library in my college yesterday, and it was very warm. And the shine on its look!! It looks so smooth and it is, and it has the natural glows on the surface. Not just the rich color, but also the shine! It's definitely perfect!Any defect? Well, when I first opened the plastic bag, the scarves had some chemical(?), distinct scent? I hung mine outside for a day and most of it was gone, but I prefer you dry-clean or at least hang it outside to remove the bad smell if you are gonna give it to somebody as a present.Over all, this purchase was very satisfactory, and I'm planning to buy another color sooner or later. Maybe Royal Blue?

This scarf was supposed to be cashmere... ...
This scarf was supposed to be cashmere...if it was it was the itchiest cashmere I ever encountered. Also the color ended up being darker than it looked in the picture.

Super soft shawl
Love the pashmina/silk shawl. So soft and gorgeous. The color is really nice. Thank you. :)

"other fiber" is right -- and whatever it is, on the skin it does not feel nice
Cons:If you are looking for a tissue-weight, soft, quality cashmere/wool pashmina, this is not it. It is not soft and it is not tissue-weight. It is not at all "luxurious." For forty more dollars, you can get 100 times the quality buying Nordstrom's pashmina. I've compared the two closely, having now purchased both. Don't cut corners by buying this one.Pros:If you're a bit of a germaphobe and you want a barrier between you and an airline or movie theater seat or a hotel sheet, it's great as a light-weight blanket. It's a beautiful color and seems thick enough to do the job.Gave it three stars because the color is rich and lovely (it appears exactly as depicted), it unquestionably contains wool (though of a scratchy, uncomfortable variety) and if I'm going to the movies or a cold restaurant, I can cram it into my purse without worry, knowing that if it gets dirty or stained, it's too cheap to matter.

The fabric contents are different from the description.
It's said that the product contains "approximate" 60% wool and other fabrics. But when I received the product, I realized approximate 60% means 40% wool plus 20% cellulose xanthate(see photo attached). And it does not feel smooth on skin. I am pretty disappointed because it was supposed to be a gift for my grandmother in law. Now I have to return it and shop somewhere else. Not sure why this product was rated over 4 stars. Clearly there would be better products somewhere else. I am fooled by other reviews this time.

Beautiful handiwork for a great price.
I received my order of two pashmina scarves (lavender and charcoal grey) this morning, a day sooner than I expected! The scarves are thinker than I imagined and the colors are brilliant. The photos online really don't do them justice. They are a little less soft than I had been expecting, but I suspect that with a few dry cleanings and some use it will soften up, like my other pashmina scarves. All in all I have very pleased with my purchase, and would definitely recommend this vendor to a friend.

nice.
I was worried about ordering these with so many mixed reviews. I ordered three as gifts. Here's my opinion on the items. They are made very well, I have no complaints on the quality of the product. The fabric is thin, but not in a translucent way where it looks threadbare. Just a nice thin wrap, but when bunched up to use as a scarf there is more than enough fabric to look lush and full. The colors of all three wraps (Coffee, Inky Navy, and Teal) are beautiful, rich and deep. True to the colors shown on here if not a little more saturated in person. My pause for giving them five stars are two things. One, there is a smell when they come out of the plastic, which is not appealing when giving as a gift. Two, the fabric is not a buttery soft as I was expecting. They are still very soft and feel very nice to the touch but there was a little bit of itchiness to the fabric when rubbing against my sensitive cheek and neck, but I am hopeful that they will soften with use.Hope this was helpful.

Perfect Pashmina
I ordered the scarf and was pleasantly surprised to receive the larger wrap as a substitute. I wore it on a pleasant evening to the theater knowing that I would need my arms covered during the performance to ward off the chill and while walking to my car afterwards but not wanting to lug a sweater or jacket. It is soft, warm, attractive and just perfect.
