Removed 5/16" X 3" lag bolt
Pros: It worked. I had sheared off a 5/16" X 3" lag bolt in a pressure treated 4"x4". I drilled a 1/8" hole about 1" into the bolt and then used pliers to thread the extractor on. It worked. It was easy.Cons: Several of the product pictures show a handle so I was expecting this to include the handle. That would work a lot better than pliers. If you are trying to extract something that is really tight then just using pliers probably won't work.

so far, so good
only used them once. They worked, but, what can I say about overall use?

Worked like a champ!
Had a hex bolt on my motorcycle that was stripped and stuck. I was able to remove it with this bit. It worked great for $7. Put it on my drill and back the bolt out. It was basically fused in the hole because the treads were all stripped when I got it out. It must have gone in wrong before. Now, where to find this special replacement bolt.

Didn't work.
Tried it on a striped screw. It didn't budge.

Best bang for your buck!
You can't find a better product for less. You would be hard pressed to find a low quality product for less. Having been a diesel mechanic I have used many high dollar tools. This tool did the job required without issue. The best is that if it had broken I wouldn't have been out a lot of money. I also like the case that keeps everything in its place.

Works as designed
I was working on my jeep trying to remove a mirror add on from the previous owner. While trying to remove the hex head bolts they eventually rounded out. I was able to remove the bolt with this product. There was some minor slippage and flaking but it did what it was designed to do. I would buy it again. All in all a pretty good deal

Good Quality Extractor
I bought this thinking it really was not going to work. well, my air compressor drain valve broke and I didn't know what to use to fix this. so I extracted the valve with this tool not knowing if it was going to work and it did work. I am pleased with this product.

Made from soft metal
Garbage. I tried it and the stuck bolt actually wore the extractor bit down. I ended up just using a normal bit. The metal this is made from is cheap garbage.
