SSP Gray Door Sound Proofing Tape 1/4" to 1/2" widths (25 ft- 1/2" wide)

Easy to install and made a huge difference to our exterior front door (busy street) and interior baby's room (we still have the baby monitor to hear her, but she is no longer woken up by the dogs barking). Used one 25 ft roll per door and had a little leftover. You do have to pull the doors firmly shut behind you, that took a little getting used to - the front door could pop back open if we were not careful. This issue will likely lessen over time as the tape compresses, and is through no fault of the product.

Not so easy to remove them if you found out you stick it in the wrong place. So I am not sure when I am done with this after the lease, if I can really remove them all, coz they are grey.

The soundproofing is very subtle at best. The material isn't that dense and would've easily mistaken it for open cell foam. Very squishy and a nightmare to remove. I'd look elsewhere instead--regrets on this purchase.

As recommend one roll would do it for a single door, after my handyman look at it he recommend that I purchase another 2 rolls as I did even then it did nothing for the noise I am extremely disappointed in the product was very happy with the delivery and service but the product gets a very poor rating from me and would like to hear from others if there is a product that actually works, very disappointed, and very desperate.

A little pricey but effective. Used on a heavy door, got about 5-6 dB increased isolation.

Didn't block any sound when I put the tape under my college dorm door (apartment style living). Blocked light though, and that helped a little, so 2 stars instead of 1.

I used mine to fill in a gap between my door and door jamb. I cleaned the edges of my door jamb and the soundproofing material sticks really well!
