I use a no name brand. It works with all my phone, speaker, and so on. It might not be the charger.

How many duty cycles on the rechargeable battery and can it be replaced when it dies?

The battery can be replaced. Of course, the duty cycle depends on the length of time you have it on, so very dificult to answer that question. Just keep an extra battery with you and it shouldn't be a problem though.
