This strip is made by Silhouette, and is the exact same as the one that came on my machine. Works like the original.

I have had my machine around 8 years and I have only replaced this part once. It is very easy to replace.

My Cameo stopped cutting and through some research found I probably needed a new cutting strip. Indeed, when I took the old one off there were a couple of big splits in the old one. I got all the adhesive off from the old one and then messed up putting the new one on. I found out you cannot reposition this, so be really careful in your placement of the new one! So, I had to order a second one and wait for it to come, but once I got it on, my machine started cutting perfectly again.

Easy to replace just remove the old one and replace it with this and your good to go. One thing I would recommend is it is a little short but if you put it on where it cuts then you won't have any issues so it will fit the rest doesn't matter because the blade unit does not go that far so perfect fit if put on right. Oh this is for the 12in silhouette cameos.

This cutting strip was easy to apply and solved a problem I was having with my Silhouette Cameo cutting all the way through my heat transfer vinyl and the backing material which was causing the silhouette to get misaligned while cutting my designs. When I called Silhouette support, this was one of the suggestions they had to correct my problem. (The other suggestion was to buy some graphite lubricant at the hardware store (about $6 for a large bottle) and apply it to the guide track on the Cameo.)The sticky-back strip on the cameo easily scraped off with my fingernail and the new strip just stuck down in its place.

The product came fast but the strip was a little crushed on one side due to the packaging being crushed in transit. Works just fine for me because the glue is very strong and it adheres perfectly.
