Hughes: Poems: Edited by David Roessel (Everyman's Library Pocket Poets Series)

This book looks nice and seems to be of a nice quality. More importantly, the poetry I have read so far is fantastic. I was familiar with Langston Hughes but hadn't read any of his work. I decided that should change and I purchased this book. I'm so glad I did.

I love reading such a variety of poems written by such a prominent black writer. I think many of his poems also speak to other oppressed people such as the mentally ill.

Great collection on poetry from Hughes. The book is a great size, nice firm binding. Very well constructed, easy to handle size.
