Good idea, well built.
I bought this as the first strap for my new camera. I was terrified that I'd fumble it or one of my kids would bump me or knock it out of my hands and it would be ruined, and this is a fantastic prevention for that. It's small, but the loop and the strap are both strong and solidly built. I feel comfortable using it.I have it on the same side of the camera as the shutter button, and I slide my middle finger into it while I'm picking it up. It's neoprene and cloth-lined on both sides so it's smooth and has a little stretch. I've added a regular camera strap since I bought it, but the tiny loop doesn't interfere with the regular strap at all so they're both on it, which means I can pick up the camera off a table and start using it immediately without fear of dropping it.I don't have any of the other op/tech accessories, but I like the idea of the interchangeable quick-release straps a lot, which is another plus.

What an ingenious idea!
I've been using the OP/TECH Wrist Straps on several of my cameras for 5 years OP/TECH USA 1822021 Cam Strap - QD (Skull) . However, when I'm shooting I don't keep those wrist straps around my wrist as it feels kind of awkward....and sometimes the dangling strap inadvertently gets in the photo if I'm not careful. These finger cuffs are a great idea. It stays on my finger while I'm shooting and doesn't become a photo bomb. Some complain about them being tight but if they weren't tight, the weight of your camera would pull it off your finger. This has a little stretch to it but IMHO doesn't stretch much past the equivalent of a size 9 or 10 ring size.

Can't go wrong with OP/TECH
I love these things! I have several small cameras and I use these instead of the larger Op/Tech wrist straps that I use with my other point and shoots, and my superzoom. Op/Tech products are great - I have lots and have been using them for years.I have large hands and though the fit is a bit tight, it's not too much so and that says that would work well with smaller fingers as well. They add a huge level of security in holding these newer small cameras that can easily slip from your hands. It's a necessity if you have one of the premium models - high cost in a small package. This is feel-good insurance for those.

Good match for Olympus Pen cameras or smaller.
This is a fairly good match for my Olympus E-PL7. I usually carry it in a large pocket so a neck strap is not acceptable. I've been using an Op/Tech wrist strap which is also good but can be a problem, at times, getting it in my pocket along with the camera.

Great for small cameras
I bought this to use with my Sony RX100 mk 3, which I use for concert photography. This is the perfect solution for such a small camera that allows me to hold it up above the crowd without causing any more of a distraction with neck straps, etc. Compact and secure!

This is the handiest little gadget for a point and shoot camera!
I have one of the heavy Canon G10 point and shoots and this strap is plenty sturdy enough for it. I recently bought the plaid one as a replacement for one I misplaced while on vacation. It's perfect for shooting family snaps at Christmas. It's a great alternative to sweaty neck straps (although Op/Tech's neck straps are terrific as well) and provides better bracing than a comparable wrist strap.

OpTech Finger Cuff
This Op/Tech finger cuff is perfect for my Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS7 camera and for any camera that has a small "hole" where the wrist strap threads through. This cuff enables me to have extra security when I have my camera in hand ready for that perfect shot. I don't have to worry if I let the camera slip because the finger cuff will "catch" it.A great product!

Don't drop it - with this - you can't!
Great little neoprene finger strapped ring has a clip that releases the camera when needed, but holds it tight in your hand even when you need to use your fingers for other tasks. You can buckle and unbuckle the "ring" quickly and easily, keeping your camera "at the ready" for those must have shots. Great stocking stuffer....thats why I bought it.

Just perfect with a Sony RX100vii
My hands are arthritic and the thing I worried most about when I ordered the new camera was whether I'd be able to grip it safely. Then I saw this wonderful little strap being used in a review of the camera and ordered one immediately. I've used Op/Tech straps in the past with DSLR and micro two-thirds cameras and know they're strong and reliable. It's fantastic for my use. I put my middle right (I'm right-handed and the strap is attached to the right side of the camera) finger through the loop, then use the right hand to grip and control the camera, with the left hand free to do things like rotate the control ring, flip up the viewfinder, etc. The strap's loop isn't particularly large and fits perfectly over the swollen knuckle on my finger, but anyone with large hands might have to use the strap on the ring or little (pinky) finger.I can grip the camera completely safely using this little strap and don't need the Sony front grip at all. This made me happy because to my eyes the grip spoils the aesthetics of the camera while the little detachable strap doesn't. It's just a massive and comforting help to how I'm able to use the camera. Very, very highly recommended to anyone who's using a small compact camera.

Expensive but worth it.
Until recentlyI have used a DSLR with a wrist cradle strap, but can no longer manage that because of balance issue. I've had to switch to a much smaller camera, but still wanted something that would keep it secure but instantly accessible. There isn't much out there, but this does the job pretty well. Expensive for a plastic clip and three inches of elasticated ribbon, but you will soon forget how much it cost you.

complements an Optech sling, or can be used when a neck strap is inconvenient
an easy way of ensuring your compact or mirrorless camera is kept safe, for those occasions where you don't want to use a sling or neck strap - and even less bulky than a wrist strap. In fact I keep one on each of my cameras at all times, even when I am also using a sling on the other attachment point!
