great for stamping
Used this versus the water one for linoleum block stamping and this is nicer because it doesn't separate like the water one, only problem is it's harder to clean.

Awesome
I don't really know what to say- I've used this on many art pieces and I love it. It's great.

Take good care of your ink!
Worked on a print design to use for the Speech and Drama team. Gamblin and Speedball oil based inks are very comparable. The small tubes are nice because they keep the ink from clumping, but it is defiantly nice to put the remaking ink back in the large jar. When using the jars, I will top it with parchment paper directly on the ink and petroleum jelly around the cap to easily access the ink again.

Great for reviving laser etched headstones
One day I went to my fathers cemetery to find his etched photo and wording had faded. I did some research on the internet and a guy recommended this ink. I did as instructed and it revived my dads stone. I am extremely happy and hope it lasts as long as people say. None the less, it saved us a lot of heartache and replacing a perfectly good stone.

Worked very well to redo a clock dial.
I have a number of old WW2 era ship clocks that have engraved letters and numbers that are filled with white and the dial surface is black. The black suffers all the abuse of years of being exposed to fingers setting the time and keys slipping out of the winding hole putting scratches on the black part of the dial. Also some of these 70 plus year old clocks have paint problems with fading and water marks. I needed a way to recoat the black and not have ink get into the engraved white areas. I used a hard rubber roller and this ink to put numerous passes on the dials to give them a consistent new surface coating and it worked great. The ink dried in a day or two. What looked very bad on the dial surface now looks excellent.

Good Black Ink
Okay, so his block printing did turn out very nicely. The ink was quite vivid and dark. You never know if your black ink will go more towards gray-black or inky-black.
