Version 2 is really great
I purchased as backorder and had to wait several weeks, but it finally arrived and used it the other day and was really impressed with the quality of the tool. It is well balanced and has adequate power. It is also pretty quiet even compared to my corded polisher. I would recommend this as a good polisher with no worries of scratching your car with the cord.Update for November 2022… I replaced the grease with a white lithium grease and the tool is probably 1/2 as noisy as the original! I was noticing there was quite a bit of noise and gear grinding after last using it, so I removed the cheap factory grease. I had an open tube of white lithium and a sealed synthetic grease, but decided to use the white lithium. It was relatively easy as it has 4 small screws to remove the counterweight and an additional 4 small screws to remove the housing which allowed me to remove the planetary great assembly. It would have been much easier, but one of the screw heads stripped and I had to grind a slot to use a flat head screw driver. Don’t hesitate to replace the grease as it will make this wonderful tool last much longer.

Too many goodies, great price, excellent product
I am a professional detailed, professional because is my current job that’s what I do for a living. I bought it not because I a need a buffer but because I am studying how to manage my budget. Honestly I was wishing that this product turns to be a a very cheap and crappy product. I love brands. Surprisingly for the exception of the on/off button I LO VE THIS machine. The same as Griot garage in my opinión. Extra it’s come with things like pads, fiber cloth and sand paper, so useful. The bag I don’t need but also comes with a case. For only $79 dollars. This is a great deal.

Very Nice, arguably stronger than the corded version.
I had bought their corded version previously and was very disappointed, so I had put buying the cordless off despite getting recommendations from other detailers. Turns out I should have listened. Ive done about 10 cars with it since receiving it and I will say that it performs well. Having a second battery is nice especially if you have a lot of correcting to do. The power seems better than the corded version, with much less stalling. With the corded, it would stall even under its own weight and you had to crack the rpms to max to get it to spin. I much rather work in the 3-4 range, which the cordless seems to do fine at. As the battery nears completion, may have to increase speed setting to stay consistant. Its not too heavy but not light either. The battery is nicely balanced. It is pretty loud and vibrates more than the real expensive models, but its a good tradeoff for value. My only real complaint so far is the autolocking mechanism is fickle, it will not always disengage when you want it too, or it wont always lock when you want it, and you have to keep fiddling with it.Its trigger is pretty sensitive too, when you are tired its real easy to hit it and dust the car. I don't think it has soft start, if you tap the trigger its go time.

There are SO many options with this machine
What do you want to do? I'm a housewife and I wanted to restore a glass fish tank. After failing to do it by hand, I spent $360 on materials to "do it right" and again failed miserably. (Not the polisher's fault. My own ignorance) But the upside is that I now had this buffer.I have used it as a sander and a buffer, but I primarily use it as a scrubber. Last winter I hired a small team of housekeepers to give my house a deep scrub. One of the ladies asked me what I wanted her to use to clean the tile in the (massive) master bathroom. I got so excited. "You're going to love this!" I set her up with an assortment of scouring pads, some toilet bowl cleaner, and the buffer and went about my business. She came out of the bathroom ten minutes later with wide eyes. "I'm done! This thing is AMAZING!" She made us all come and look. My tile was sparkling. The grout had gone from it's dirty brown to it's original grey. She'd done the entire floor in just that time. Took an hour for them to clean the shower because they all had to participate and watch my little monster in action.Every time I need a lot of scrubbing power, this is my go-to. If/when it dies, I'll be replacing it immediately. My only issue is the weight, but I don't know if it's possible to get something that works as well that's lighter. I've bought powered scrubbers intended for cleaning before and they're junk.Con - It is heavy so it wears out my arms fast when I do the shower walls, but on the upside, it's so FAST. In the end, it doesn't really matter if I use my buffer or elbow grease. My arms will be noodles either way. At least this way the job is done in ten minutes rather than an hour. But nothing is better for floors. In that case, the weight actually helps you apply more pressure and get the job done with a quickness. If you want to use this for floors, I advise getting a good set of knee pads for maximum comfort. You aren't going to be in one place long and knee walking on tile is no fun.

works as it should
The polisher works well. I am still getting familiar with how it operates and using the attachments.

good 15mm DA for the price
Its a 15mm DA. Not super aggressive, but way better than my porter cable one I had. I used it with the DIY Detail pads and polish. Can do medium cut and finishes well. I also bought a Makita Battery adapter and use it with my Dewalt batteries too. The 2 they come with are fine, but they have a fairly short run time.

Beefy Buffer
Great buffer.Plenty of power. In fact more power than I really needed to do polishing. It's a beast!
