I purchased as backorder and had to wait several weeks, but it finally arrived and used it the other day and was really impressed with the quality of the tool. It is well balanced and has adequate power. It is also pretty quiet even compared to my corded polisher. I would recommend this as a good polisher with no worries of scratching your car with the cord. Update for November 2022… I replaced the grease with a white lithium grease and the tool is probably 1/2 as noisy as the original! I was noticing there was quite a bit of noise and gear grinding after last using it, so I removed the cheap factory grease. I had an open tube of white lithium and a sealed synthetic grease, but decided to use the white lithium. It was relatively easy as it has 4 small screws to remove the counterweight and an additional 4 small screws to remove the housing which allowed me to remove the planetary great assembly. It would have been much easier, but one of the screw heads stripped and I had to grind a slot to use a flat head screw driver. Don’t hesitate to replace the grease as it will make this wonderful tool last much longer.

Great tool for the money I use this all the time for detailing everyone's car. Definitely recommend it the only downside is charging time

I bought one of these about 2 years ago. I have been pleased with it to date, although it is now making grinding type sounds with increased vibrations. Hopefully it just needs fresh or better grease which I will change out (supposed to change the grease in these every year, so it’s definitely due). I have noticed from recent reviews about the polisher malfunctioning (abruptly stopping after just an hour or so in addition to battery complaints). It seems the quality of this polisher has trended down over the last several years and complaints about customer service are bang on-it’s pathetic and annoying!!! Im not sure I would buy another one….

Perfect for this price range polisher! It has two batteries and is compatible with Makita batteries, hence why I bought it in the first place. Speed control knob is good and the weight is balance for myself so no complaints there. Makita batteries work on it but the SPTA batteries does not on Makita tools but that’s no big issue!

I normally don't leave reviews but I honestly was impressed by the easy handling and results this polisher had. the only downside is the battery. if you are only using a 1 step polish no problem, but I did a full 2 step paint correction and found myself charging batteries once the other died. so extra batteries are a must if you don't have a charging station. either way this is a game changer for the price of this item. get yours now!

I love this polisher! 1st it comes with 2 batteries that last over 30 minutes at high RPMs. And is compatible with Makita batteries so I bought a 2 pack from Home Depot 18v 5ah and does everything I need it to do. Though I am no professional it does what I need it to do and does not get hot with extended use. I will buy this product again and intend on purchasing their mini polisher as well love it.

For a cheap battery powered polisher it's not bad. It's slightly underpowered but the battery quality is very poor. The contacts that clip the battery to the polisher wear out in just a couple months. They also overheat and melted the shell of the battery. I contacted the company to get a replacement battery and they sent me a battery shell with a circuit board that needs to be soldered to the old battery. Soldering is a technical skill that I never learned, nor do I have a soldering iron. This is completely unhelpful.

I'm a professional automotive detailer, and this is definitely the very best cordless polisher for the money. It's quiet, little to no vibration, and light weight. The only thing I suggest anyone to do is take it apart and put better grease inside the unit.
