These are very reasonably priced. If you've ever tried to fit one of these things to your teeth, you will appreciate the fact that these instructions are clear, and you have 4 shots at it. The mouth guards are thick enough to do the job, without being overly clunky once fitted. I do have a rather small mouth, so I trimmed them down with scissors. If you have the same issue, note that it is MUCH easier if you trim these BEFORE softening in hot water and fitting them. This way you won't have jagged scissor marks poking the inside of your mouth. I use these myself, and I also ordered a set for my mother in law when she mentioned her dentist wanted to charge her $85 for one fitted mouth guard. Other products out there run $30 or more for one guard. This offers 4 for very reasonable price. Just follow directions to get a good fit.

I grind my teeth when I sleep. This mouth guard prevents it. It’s easy to use, clean and lasts a long time. I wear it at night, then brush it in the morning with toothpaste. It’s much cheaper than a mouth guard from the dentist and works just as well. I wish I’d started using it years ago, before I damaged my teeth!

If you are buying this to help with night grinding of teeth, this product will basically get you by until you can get an appt in with your dentist and get the real thermo-plastic mouth guard which I think is better. What is cool about this product is that you have 4 molds, which means you get 4 tries to get the best fit for your teeth. What I don't like is that there is no way to get as tight of a fit around your teeth as the ones made in the dentist office. I think these guards make up for it by giving you a little more real estate in the front, above your top teeth and and behind them. I don't like how this feels on my gums, after waking up - almost like they have been manipulated away from where the guard was. It has also fallen out of my mouth in the middle of the night. In short, I think for the price, this was a good temporary fix. I had lost my dentist-made mouth guard, and needed something to keep my teeth from grinding until a new one could be made. Now that I have my new thermo-plastic one from the dentist, I am sleeping a lot better.If there is a way to perhaps get a tighter fit on the teeth and trim down the tops that dig into gums and the roof of the mouth, this might be just as good. But again, I had 4 tries and my best attempt was nowhere near as good as the dentist made one.

These work well. After reading the reviews and postings of others, I decided it was worth a try. It IS very important to read and re-read the instructions . . probably have them right by your side with a trusty Timer when you are first heating them up. This is a very heat sensitive material and they are not limiting the time in hot water for no reason. I'm sure this will be mush if left in longer than specified. Fit perfectly on first try although they say you can re-do. My purchase was for clenching overnight but I'm sure these would work nicely for teeth whitening as I have done that in custom-made trays. If you've never worn braces or had other fitted items in your mouth, it might feel a bit odd. But, nobody is telling you to go out in public with it! :-) The price is really terrific when compared with alternatives. So far, I'm still on my 1st tray and it looks like day one after about a month.

I am a very heavy night grinder and I've used many different mouth guards. These include 2 different custom styles provided by my Dentists, 4 different custom guards through mail order mold kits, and many boil and bites. These guards are a version of boil and bites and by far, are the best boil and bite I've ever used. The material is spongy though does not break down from grinding. It molds well and keeps it shape. As with many of my custom guards, my dog had gotten a hold of one of these and chewed it to a barely recognizable state. I was able to clean the chewed guard reboil the material and reform it into a well shaped guard again!!!! These are as good or better than most custom guards that I've used. I bought them to hold me over until my new custom guard came in and I like them so much, I haven't switched from using them. Considering the price, I may switch to these permanently.

Even if you follow the directions scrupulously, it is hard to mold these guards correctly. Had to throw two of them away and the most "successful" one is very uncomfortable---so thick I can't close my mouth. I guess the answer is to go back to my dentist and have another mouth guard made. Expensive , yes, but at least it will be wearable.

These are excellent but fitting is a bit tricky the first couple of times. Once I got the hang of it I would never use another tooth guard. My teeth are pretty worn and my mouth is average size and I have to trim at least a 1/4 inch off both ends before molding but these mold to your teeth, roof of your mouth and gums beautifully and are by far the most comfortable fitting tooth guards ever! They fit very much like a professionally made retainer, if you've ever had one but they're softand smooth so they're very comfortable to sleep with. If you mess up the first to hang in there. You can't go wrong at this price.

It’s for the kids very bad

This product, although not custom fitted, arrived with full instructions that were easily followed. Custom is £70 for 1!!

Bought it to use as night guard. It's hard to mold and very thick. After wearing it, my tooth grinding became worse due to discomfort. Waste of money.
