Extremely bright. The range is wide (105 Beam Angle Degree) vs what previously used primarily of the Sylvania Night Chaser 5000K 250W equivalent which have a beam angle of 60. Perfect for areas where if you have lots of shadows from branches, small trees, and you can move or relocate, the wide and very bright light will reduce those shadowy areas. Does not flicker or delay. They run a tad warm. Just need to make sure it is not blocked by obstructions to get the most from the passive cooling. Con: Well this is just more of a concern that could be for some. 1st: The bulb is quite heavy. If light socket is a bit flimsy may want to make sure everything is tight since the bulb could make the fixture sag if it has any looseness. I did run across this and had to make some adjustments. If it slips out of your hand and hits concrete, it will break. Sylvania's are mostly plastic and this one either has a glass housing or just a really good plastic almost gorilla glass style texture on the lens, metal fins and plastic base. 2nd: Not entirely sure how long the bulb will last due to simply the heat. Sylvania 250w Night Chasers run much cooler but they technically are near half the running power draw at 26 watts and long lasting.

I started to replace the fluorescent lights in my garage as they burnt out with LED. I ordered a number of those screw in LED bulbs and they are junk. In short time they started to burn out. I tried several different brands and they are all Chinese junk. I finally decided to try these bulbs instead and they are working out to be awesome replacements. They are on the expensive side, but they should pay for themselves over time if the 13 year expectancy is accurate. It is better than replacing the cheap fold out style LEDs that only last a few months. These bulbs are heavy duty with a nice heat sink, unlike the plastic ones. Eventually as my 8 foot fluorescents burn out, I will be replacing them with these. These are every bit as bright and the 5000K color temp is perfect.

Very satisfied with these bulbs and the light they produce. Two of them were bought to illuminate the rear deck on my house and they are great. The necks on the bulbs were short and they would not fit into the funnel style fixtures. That problem was fixed with a couple of socket extensions (also on Amazon) and everything worked as hoped. I have no comments on the longevity as they have only been in use for a couple of months but as for the light, I am completely satisfied.

I purchased 8 of these lights five years ago - some from Amazon, some from a local big box store. They are supposed to be 5000 lumens but they do not look as bright as some other 4200 lumen lights I installed in the same building. I don't have a light meter so this is subjective. What is worse is that three of the eight have already failed. They are supposed to have a 13 year lifespan.

Super bright. Replaced my outdoor 150w. Worth the price.

These lights are very bright. Light up a large area. Be considerate of your neighbors when placing. Otherwise you could start a lighting war.. last thing you want is some putting a 62k Lumen LED stadium light directed at your home.

I plugged it in. It lit. Who could ask for anything more? All kidding aside, it is VERY bright. I was surprised by how plastic it is!

The bulb worked well at our subdivision's entrance!

These are VERY bright, and well suited for my outside motion detectors. Any intruder will be bathing in lumens. I liked them so much, I bought them again to replace more lights in my yard. Recommended.

So my neighbor decided to point a floodlight into my front window, so I returned the favor with these. Mysteriously the neighbor doesn’t turn his on any longer….

Fait très bien la job. J'avais au parravant un 35w présentement c'est un 50w. Il est installé à l'extérieur sous des arbres. il éclaire beaucoup Il y a une grosse différence de 35w à 50W

A used one？Wasting time and money. Never ever choice this brand.
