I loved cooking with the zip and steam bags and have been frustrated with their sudden disappearance. I decided to try these as a replacement and have been largely very happy with them. They work great and are reusable which is a huge bonus. My only reason for the less than perfect rating is that one of the clips that holds it closed (on one of the bags) suddenly stopped latching. Nothing appears broken and I can't see any reason why it's not locking in place. It just flops back off instead of locking down. Fortunately the other clip on the bag (so far) seems enough to hold it closed and sealed so it's still working, but a little disappoint that after only 4-5 uses the clasp would stop locking.But as far as functionality goes, highly recommend- makes steaming veggies quick and easy and they come out great.

My husband and I both work for the airlines. Food is always a problem to get, so we bring our food from home. Problem is...how to warm the food up. Our planes do not have an oven or heating source, so that becomes a problem. I normally use 2 air sickness bags, and the very hot water to warm my food up. My husband is a pilot and having that in the flight deck is a no go item. Life was hard....until I discovered these bags.They can withstand the almost scolding temperature, no leaks and it stand up. I put water to test it out and no leaks! It is huge too. I can put so much food in it, that I will never get hangry again. And a happy feed flight attendant makes for a happy flight. My husband and I just keep the Amazon link handy because all of out flight crews want one. It is pricey but totally worth not paying for a crappy $15 salad or Sahara desert burger at the airport.

I do not like to cook so I cook for several days and used to throw out much of the food. Because you can eliminate almost all excess air, the food - fresh and cooked - lasts much longer. The bags can be frozen, they are easy to clean, you can see how many cups are in each bag. And they use up much less storage space than hard plastic containers. Perfect!

Great product to replace the use of single use ziploc baggies. They stand up so nicely that they are easy to fill. As for cleaning, just put them in the dishwasher. I wish I could afford more, to freeze things, AND have them on hand for leftovers & such. Also, if you are squeezing the air out with dry foods, sometimes the tops don’t line up for a tight fit. Overall, I am sooo glad I bought these.

I use these for my lunch when I go out fishing. Nice not to use the plastic sandwich bags. Also great for storing things in the refrigerator. Easy to wash. Easy to store. Great product

I love these bags and will definitely be buying more. Our home is small and I'm always looking for ways to save space. These bags have eliminated big bulky mixing/food storage bowls and I don't have to search for lids! I recently bought a large ham and cut it up into meal size portions. I put a quarter of the ham in one bag and put the left over soup I made in another. No more food storage bags...that's money saving so they will pay for themselves in no time flat. A worth while investment!

It stands up by itself and stays open when you want to fill it. It closes easily and securely went you want to store something. It is the only bag of its kind that I feel confident can be fully cleaned and dried in the dishwasher. It even has a built-in fastener to keep itself rolled up in a tube for storage.Details like this are the difference between a product that works and a product you actually want to use.

These things are great! They even hold liquid and keep fruit fresh for days longer than what I have used in the past. I feel better doing my little bit to reduce plastic waste!
