Fantastic replacement for incandescent bulbs
"Sod's Law" decreed that one of the bulbs on our Advent Arch had failed, and even worse the spare incandescent bulbs I had bought in advance were the wrong wattage :-( Fortunately I found these brilliant Led replacements, and Amazon delivered them next day. They worked first time (having screwed them in firmly, taking heed of other reviews). I like the fact that they are a nice warm colour, and indeed probably closer to a candle flame in appearance. They also consume considerably less power, and the pack of 10 leaves us with 3 spares, so we should be OK for several more Christmas's!

Pleasing warm light glow
The bulbs arrived fairly promptly in a padded bag but were not packed that securely for glass bulbs and there was no documentation. When I first inserted these bulbs they didn't work and I was disappointed. I thought that it may be a faulty bulb but when I tested with an ordinary multi-meter they all showed open circuit. This is probably due to the fact that the LED device is only 2v-3v or so and there is additional circuitry to cope with the higher voltage and a.c. of the applied voltage i.e. 240v/no of lamps (9) = 26v (approx). I then made sure that the bulb contacts in the holders were reset (both side and bottom) using a dental pick and was delighted to see all the lamps lit with a pleasing warm light. Make sure the unit is unplugged from the mains! Do not mix filament lamps with the LED lamps - they are ikely to be damaged and will not work.

Lights for Christmas
They enabled me to repair the Christmas lighting instead of just buying new items. Mend and repair, much better when the item will last another 40 years with very little effort. It's original box is still there, we get the nest out of everything rather than throwing things in the bin.

The date you set was the 22/23 Dec 22 not Jan 23, they are Xmas bulbs, no good in January!
They should have been for Xmas decorations but will come in for Xmas 23.

Safe and economical alternative to old style filament bulbs
My sister asked me to fixed an Advent Arch passed down from our parents, so high sentimental value. Several bulbs were broken, and one plastic candle was melted at the top, a bit worrying for something left unattended for long periods. My first thought was to try and make up some LED replacements somehow, so I was very pleased to find these at Amazon. I had to file down the solder joint on the side of a couple of them so they screwed in easily (an emery board will work if you don't have a needle file set), but basically easy. The result is cool running and low power consumption, so although a bit dearer than replacement filament bulbs, they should make that up in lower running costs, and won't burn the house down while you sleep, win-win as they say.

Awesome product - no more bulb pfaff at Christmas
Arrived quickly. Tried them in both 5 bulb and 7 bulb Advent Candles. You need to swap the lot as you cannot mix led and filament. However they work, even in 55v despite specification, don't flicker and whilst not quite as bright as filament - bright enough. Everything I expected. No more fiddling to find the dead bulb. Great.

Didn’t work
😠 ☹️ These replacement LED bulbs didn’t work/two were extremely dim when all 7 were fitted, but if 1 of the old style incandescent/filament bulbs is inserted into the 2nd holder from the lead end of the arch - doesn’t light/functioning as resistive dummy load, only then do they light brightly as intended? 🤨 This Scandinavian candle arch/bridge is mains powered - 240v, 3amp fuse in plug, and each bulb is at 3x7w 34v, the LED bulbs are at 10-55v, 0-2w, and the incandescent bulbs; 34v, 3w, ..... too many watts? Needs a wallwart to reduce the power? But they were delivered quite quick - ordered in December - amazon estimated be delivered in January, but were actually delivered after Boxing Day....we had to put up with it looking weird at the last week of Christmas, at least it was in the window behind the tree. Next year/Christmas, we will traditionally re-populate it with incandescent bulbs 🙁, as the LEDs didn’t work for us. Does the seller want them back/re-fund?

Persevere!!!
Like others I had the situation where most of the bulbs glowed dimly, despite lifting the central contact. One bulb at a time, I slightly unscrewed and then tightened. Each time causing other lamps to flicker EXCEPT one!!!Turned off power and again lifted base contact on that one specific bulb. Screwed back in and hey presto everything lit up!!!So don’t give up if you get a feint glow. It shows a bad contact somewhere,Final lights work, if a bit dimmer than before.
