JUMP Math 4.1: Book 4, Part 1 of 2

I used this to help tutor a friend's daughter. It was okay, but not as good as the examples and explanations on their website. In my opinion the book did not really follow through with the JUMP philosophy and was more like run of the mill math exercises. Worst of all, it followed the CORE curriculum which is a bit much for elementary school kids.

Jump math is a very thorough math program. This is our second year using it and am very pleased with the results.

Jump Math is the best math work book out there. For parents that have not done math since school, this is the way to help your kids. I combine this with Khan Academy online and my kids math skills have improved far beyond what I could help with.

We love these books and order them every year. We find they help bridge the gap during the summer months and help keep our children's minds active and alert. These books provide a great jumping off point or a follow-up piece to any piece in the Ontario Mathematics Curriculum. I especially find them useful in Special Education as there are never too many questions/examples per page.

My 3rd grade son has been identified as gifted and he is loving this Math book. It helps to keep him challenged at home.
