Con: Upon removing the mat from it’s packaging, I noticed a “glitter” type substance over the entire surface of both the top and bottom of the mat. This substance came off on my hands and fingers, and on the hardwood floor after I laid the mat down flat - messy! I used my vacuum cleaner to remove the glittery substance. I’ve posted before and after photos. In the photo on the left you’ll see where I’ve vacuumed a portion of the mat removing the glittery stuff. There’s a lot more glittery stuff on the mat than is shown in the before photo.Pros: The thickness of this mat is great and it’s lightweight! The 72” length is perfect and the quality is evident. I only buy closed cell mats and this mat is one of the better mats, for the price, I’ve purchased.

I was having knee pain, and decided to take up yoga. I was using an old yoga mat that my sister has, and it hurt my joints bad. I decided to order this and give it a try. If you're particularly sensitive around your knee joints or tailbone, this mat will be wonderful for you. It's the perfect amount of thickness and comfort. It's thickness also lends itself well to being rolled up on one end to sit on like a pillow.I would totally recommend this to anyone in the market for a new exercise mat, anyone that is a little bonier (like me), or if you're suffering joint pain. Bonus: It also came with a yoga mat bag, and it's super cute.

The mat itself is really nice. It is around a half inch in thickness, I have bad knees and didn’t have a problem using this over hardwood floors. My only complaint is it is very difficult to get the mat back into the carrying case. I have years of experience packing for field marches in the military and packing for motorcycle trips. Due to the anti slip nature of the mat and the design of the bag (you have to slide the whole mat in from one end), it is next to impossible to get the mat back into the bag. This is not only a pain in the behind, but since the bag is cheap nylon, I foresee it ripping very quickly. If you want to carry this around, I would plan on having some type of carrying strap and ditch the bag.

I love this mat. The thickness is perfect, and the surface is smooth and perfect for exercising. I know that I will be able to do lunges and kicking exercises without damaging the surface.My only complaint is that there was a dirt mark in the center of the mat when I received it, so I would call that damage. I should have taken a picture, but it is already in the box to be exchanged. We'll see how easy this process is. I hope the new one is in perfect condition!

I'm like brand new to yoga so I got this since it was pretty reasonable on price and said to be extra thick. I was worried about hurting my knees on the ground but this does give some really nice cushion so they don't hurt so bad.It comes with this part-mesh carrying bag, which is kind of hard to get on and off. I may not be rolling it tightly enough. But I really like the carrying string. It goes on easily enough and keeps it rolled up. I might use the bag if I ever take it out with me, but for now I'll be using it at homeAlso picked this one for the colour and it's perfectly true to what's shown here.

I love the design of this mat, however I was not pleased with the thickness. It wasn’t as thick as I would have hoped it to be. Hurts my knees quite a bit during yoga. The bag it comes with is a small fit. It is not easy to put the bag back in the case especially in a hurry while leaving class. Bag ripped the second time I used it.

I've had the chance to use this yoga mat for about a week now and I've been really happy. As a paramedic flexibility has been essential but I definitely lack it. I've just started to pick up yoga with my girlfriend and it's been going well. It's a lot harder than it looks, at first I thought it was all simple stretches but it really isn't.This mat works well because it's padded and I don't slip on it at all. I would say if you're new to yoga, getting this mat would be the best thing you can do.

Was a great purchase. The mat is thick and non slip which allows me to workout while sweating. The mat is pretty long and comes with a handy bag so all I have to do is roll it up and go.
