The Best Teriyaki Sauce bar none...
I love Yoshida-san's sauces. I've been buying this for years. It goes really good with just about any meat and veggies, which I frequently grill in this sauce. I don't know if I've ever cooked pork with it, but definitely chicken and beef as many times as I could count. I'm actively trying to work this into a breakfast thing, too. I just love it and, compared to any other Teriyaki sauces that I've tried (and I have tried quite a few), this one is by far the best of them. I've even made my own trying to come up with "as good as" Yoshida's...and missed. If you inject this sauce into whole chickens and cook them on the grill using a "beer can" technique, where the beer can is filled with about 50% Yoshida's and 50% (I use Busch Light) cheap light beer, it comes out so delicious that even your neighbors start asking you when you're going to be cooking it again. I made beef spare ribs in flanken style with this for a company pot-luck and everybody wanted the recipe. Flanken + Yoshida's overnight + grill = absolutely awesome. You know that it is true when they come back for 3rds and 4ths...how fun is it to casually say "have as much as you want" that's how good it is. I am literally telling you that I have YET to find another teriyaki sauce that is even CLOSE much less as good as OR better. I am not a chef or any kind of food critic, but I definitely know what I like. Just like I have never had good plate lunch outside of Hawaii, I have never found a better teriyaki sauce than Yoshida-san's. Shake first and, if you're like me, stand it up on its cap and drain every last drop. Lord knows that I have looked for better/cheaper/more readily available in stores, but this one is really good not horribly expensive through Amazon (compared to some shops). One of my 'secret' recipes that everyone always asks for is to make grilled skinless/boneless chicken thighs marinated in this sauce (I put them in the fridge for 3-5 days!) with a touch of Melinda's Naga Jolokia hot sauce. The grilling process seems to take the edge off of the Melinda's just enough (but not more!) to tame them to the taste of those who like spicy foods. The sweetness of the Yoshida's combined with that unique teriyaki favor and the hot and edgy Melinda's is superb. It is sex for your palate! The Yoshida's tames the wicked Melinda's sauce just enough to have you gobbling up the tiny cut pieces as fast as you can while the "silent" burn builds ever so subtlety. It is "way awesome good." If you haven't, you gotta try it. If you have ever found a better teriyaki sauce, please let me know!

Yummy
This is the best teriyaki sauce. I put it in my stir fry as well as fried rice. Right balance of sweet sticky yumminess.

The best since I was a kid
I've been using Mr. Yoshida's my whole adult life and before that my mom always used it. It's great for stir frying and marinating. I don't like most teriyaki flavor. I'm pretty picky so Mr. Yoshida's is the only one I use.

My absolute favorite
I do a lot of cooking and since I came back from Japan, I try to recreate a lot of the food that I've had there. I am a little bit picky with some of the ingredients that I use as a result. This one is my absolute favorite and it's a shame that I can only find it on Amazon. I absolutely love using this sauce as a marinade and in dressings. You don't have to add mirin or anything to it.

Perfect marinade for flank steak.
We’ve used this marinade for years on flank steak. Heavily pepper your flank steak on both sides and pat it onto meat to make it hold. Put steak in gallon ziplock and add the marinade. Rub it into grain of meat. Let sit overnight. Line pan with heavy duty foil allowing sides of foil to be raised a couple of inches all around to keep from getting your oven dirty. Broil 10 or more minutes on each side or grill to preferred temperature. Will smoke some in broiler and outside will crystallize due to sugar in marinade. Slice thin and serve. Easy.
