Japanese Style Whole Wheat Panko Bread Crumbs 8 ounce Resealable Package

The product is fine. I’ve bought it before many times at Wegmans, but they did not have it. However, the Amazon price was almost 3 times the amount at Wegmans.

Good product. Hard to find in stores

I used to buy these at my local grocery store and they stopped selling them. I prefer to use whole wheat products when available. These are nice and crunchy too.

Box came in badly damaged but the inside bag seemed to be okay

I really like whole wheat panko bread crumbs because the crumbs have fiber in them unlike white flour bread crumbs.

These panco breadcrumbs are really good with everything. They are very difficult to find in stores.

If you can find these Japanese Whole Wheat Panko crumbs on sale or a multi-pack, then you should definitely try them. Amazon's price was higher than at Whole Foods at the time of my purchase. They are perfect for baking fish or chicken, mixed with Parmesan cheese flakes, garlic and/or onion powder. You can use them for mozzarella sticks and onion rings, stuffed mushrooms... you name it. But the best use I found for them when frying chicken wings. I add them to the seasoned brown rice flour to add that crunch, and they always deliver! Please do not think that they are similar to the regular bread crumbs. These are the largest Panko crumbs I've tried which is the secret to the crunchy on the outside, and so moist on the inside chicken wings. Whole Wheat is a healthier option, or at least that's what I tell myself. :-)

You can't imagine how good this whole wheat panko is. If you haven't tried it, try it. It's not just a health thing. For me, it's a taste thing. It has a rich, unique flavor.
