Arthur Collins Radio Wizard

Amazing innovator and great history.
Great book. Wish there was more pictures not to mention pictures in proper locations to help set the story. Being an Iowa amateur operator its nice to see some local history. The format was odd too follow. Chapters divided up based on certain subjects like type of technology and not chronological. So throughout the book it often repeated itself. Sometimes close to verbatim.

What makes Collins radios so good?
This was a delightful and insightful read. I have worked worked on and used Collins communication and navigation gear for over twenty years and always wondered how this equipment seemed, in every case, to outperform and outlast it's competitors. While you discover how the gifted Arthur Collins worked his radio wizardry you may start to find you have a few gifts of your own you would like develope!
