Gas welding torch safety
This was an important safety addition to my Victor torch.The brass valves were well made and threads were a perfect match for my oxygen and acetylene torchwith welding and cutting torch functions. Quick delivery as well from Amazon.

The big tank has not gone boom!
The big tank has not gone boom, which I will consider a good sign. On the other hand, I have not attempted to cause a flash to test them either. Seem to be built well and easy to install. Although there seems no good way to test them, I am confident enough in them that I purchased a second pair.

OK build; reasonable no-name quality.
The valves appear to be functioning as one-way check valves. The only issue is that the acetylene valve has the proper left hand thread on the end couplings but the two-piece valve body has a right hand thread. As mentioned in other reviews, when you tighten the acteylene valve with the hose and regulator (left hand thread) you can open the right hand thread on the body which leads to leaks. As a result, you need to clamp the body to when tightening the end fittings. And be sure to leak test the body itself.

How can you rate any of these?
I can only rate these on price and ease of install. How can anyone say how they work? If you have a flashback fire and they don’t work you will not be around to change your review, so I’m sure all brands will get a good review up front. I had a rosebud tip on my torch that malfunctioned and got so hot internally that it ruined the torch head before I could get the tanks turned off. Wow, that woke me up and I then realized why these are recommended. If they do work as intended, no reason to change my review. If they don’t, no one else will come behind me to change it. See my point?
