ASICS Ace Low Profile Knee Pad, Black

I returned these knee pads because the four way padding actually pushed my knee cap into uncomfortable positions during floor work that caused me some problems. These would be great for sports and high impact with the floor in the case of a fall but I was using them for Pole Dance and floor work that required continuous contact with the ground. In this case the pads were really inadequate and much too bulky.

They were huge and didn’t fit. I don’t even have that small of legs so I’m not sure. Waste of money.

Mine just arrived and I'm so disappointed. There is nothing "low profile" about these. Are you kidding? I bought them to offer discreet knee support for dancing. Even with over-the-knee socks they look horribly bulky. What a complete waste. They are HUGE and I'm confused as to why no else has complained about this. I bought it because it had good reviews. Great.

These are awful...The product has definitely declined in durability..Started falling apart after one use.

We bought these knee pads for my daughter to use for volleyball on her high school team. They lasted about two weeks and the top started fraying. A few days later, the elastic around the tops of both pads was shot and didn't hold the pads up anymore. I don't recommend buying these.

For me, these pads are what I was looking for and needed. I am in my 60's but still enjoy interior painting and detailing cars. Doing these activities requires some knee time! These Asics fit around my knee properly. They stay in place (most important feature as far as I am concerned). And, they do not cut off my circulation. I had them on for 6 hours the other day and had no issues. Just enough cushioning without being obtrusive. Good product. I gave them 4 stars because I have not used them long enough to vouch for their durability.

Stays on, doesn't slide down or shift positions, and doesn't pinch the skin or leave marks. I am 5' 4" and weigh 135 lbs. I use them under my snow pants for snowboarding. They don't provide the same protection as hard-shelled knee pads used for skateboarding, but they provide adequate protection to reduce the "ouch" when falling on one's knees. I would also recommend them to anyone who needs to wear them for all day use under clothes (i.e. cleaning houses, working on your knees to install flooring or carpeting, etc.). You forget you have them on - they are comfortable to wear all day long. They provide full coverage of the knees, yet they are not too bulky to wear under jeans or snow pants.

These do the job just fine -- didn't seem to roll down on her or cause discomfort, even though I worried because they only came in one size. However, she put them on MAYBE 5 times, and they are coming apart already. This is her first year playing volleyball, and it's not very competitive since she's only 11. It's just for fun, and she barely moves out there. Certainly never dives. I cut the tag out VERY carefully, so while it looks like that may have caused this, you can see that I didn't even get to the edge of the tag -- it's all still there. So this isn't my fault. They were cheap, and I will sew them, so they did their job. Maybe get more expensive ones if your child is in this for the long haul.

Good fit for medium to thin build. Pads protect and don’t move for slides and pancakes.

very happy with these pads for volleyball. tends to stay in place well. enough padding. low profile. would buy these again.
