Works like a perfect tool dump pouch.
I purchased this bag to hold large tools for work. Each job is different, sometimes small electrical tools, other times larger tools for mechanical and hydraulic work. I needed a bag that can hold some weight, long enough to hold some long wrenches, 1/2 to 1” drive socket sets, etc. I also needed one that will lay flat under my service cart. This bag so far is perfect. Well built, strong and easily folds away. If you need a bag that can hold some weight and hold up to abuse, this is the one.

Great, tough bags.
This is my 4th mechanic jumbo bag. I think 2 were Rothco and 2 were Fox. Honestly, besides the colour of the cases, I can't tell the difference. They are all super tough, built out of a canvas type material that feels like this bag could hold 60 lbs no problem. I use them to store tools and recovery gear in my 4runner. They are very well made, and cheap, so they make perfect bags for recovery rope, tow straps, snatch blocks, etc. One has all my wrenches and hand tools in. One has all my survival equipment in. Highly recommend.

Terrific! Just not ideal as a tool bag.
I bought this for my husband to use for work. As a woodworker, he carries a fair amount of tools from home and back, and I wanted something that would hold up under prolonged heavy use. The fabric and zipper of the bag are fantastic for that purpose — very durable, and look/function great even after months of use.Where the bag falls short is its dimensions and structure — if you're looking to use this as a tool bag, you might look elsewhere for something with more conventional dimensions and structure. It's smaller than expected, as well as long and narrow, which affects the kind/amount of tools you can place in it; my husband says he can fit, at maximum, 2 drills, a hammer, 2 bit cases, and a drill charger.Because of the canvas-y material, it doesn't hold its shape very well, causing the walls of the bag to slump when opened or empty or to bulge when filled. This is fine so long as you aren't expecting the bag to retain its shape or stay conveniently open the whole time. The structure and dimensions of this bag also mean that, when the bag is full, the pockets on the sides of the bag are rendered pretty much unusable for anything other than very small items. So if you're looking for a good looking, durable bag, this bag is awesome, especially for the price! However, if you're like so many of the others here looking to use this bag as a tool bag, I'd suggest you consider the size and amount of tools you use. And when estimating the proportions of the bag, err on the side of small.

Good discrete sturdy toolbag
Great toolbag, about as big as you can get outside of welding toolbags. Looks sleek, really strong material and zipper. This is basically a Rothco bag that was possibly sold as surplus or just rebranded? Not really sure but the material is different from GI slightly.Roomy, and REALLY strong. I carry 50+ plus pounds regularly in it and nothing even feels close to flimsy. The side pockets are pretty small as are the interior pockets which are just pencil pockets really, cannot even fit a large socket in them. This is more of a cram everything inside for the job bag and not a keep everything organized bag, but it gets the job done and maybe you should be looking for a welding bag or a rolling toolbox if you really want the former.

Sweet Tool Bag.
I recently switched divisions at work from "Save my Stuff" to "Destroy my House." Its much easier to wreck something than it is to save something. But I needed tools and I needed something to carry them around in.The other techs I work with have the usual Husky tool bags or the bucket bag. Which is fine, but I prefer to work in style, thank you very much. This bag fits the bill. Its heavy canvas and the handles can withstand a lot of weight. The interior has little pockets that are quite useful as well as pockets on both sides of the exterior with a button down flap. Its just a cool bag, straight up. I stenciled my name on it, military style, giving it a kind of WWII look.Look, if you need a tool bag, why not go ahead and get a cool one. 5 stars for style points and good construction.

Depending how you measure the bag?
I use this bag for luging around trailer gear (hitches, pins, straps, tools, etc.). I measured the bag corner to corner and came up with between 18"-19". The bag is heavy duty material and flexible. The largest item in my bag is 23". Photos attached are not that great, but should give you an idea of the size of the bag. Fox makes great bags and I would recommend if the size fits your needs.

Fantastic as a gym bag!
I got this to use as a gym bag & it is great for that. Easily holds a change of clothes, shoes & a towel. Tough, durable canvas, sturdy zipper, outside pockets to hold miscilanious items. There is a row on either side of the inside compartment of slots to hold small tools as well, so I can imagine it would work well in that capacity also. When I first ordered, I did not recieve the item for some time and after contacting the company it turns out it was lost in a storm (remember hurricane Sandy?) the company apologized, even though it was well beyond their control, & shipped a replacement which arrived promptly. They were very helpful with the whole matter & a pleasure to deal with, even in less than ideal circumstances.
