Wonderful retelling of the Greek myths. Beautiful book. The interludes between the myths are tedious, but you can skip them. Overall, highly recommended.

A nice collection of Greek myths. A very old book, sometimes speaks in a way we would think of as unclear today. Due to this, it may be confusing for the very youngest readers.

None of these stories are from the classic mythology! I didn't really like these. KEEP THE PATH stay: Edith Hamilton!! Although the copy I got was better than perfect. I can see why they might have never opened it again. Don't judge a book by its cover.

My grandson aged 11 loves the Greek myths & I haven't found that many books aimed at his age group about this subject. This is an American book, which is mainly obvious in the preface. The stories are articulately written, & just the right amount of challenging vocabulary for 11-12 year old. The illustrations are traditional & beautiful, the cover has a 'special book' look. A nice volume for a gift

Hard cover, very good print. Font size big so great for kids. Very nice illustrations and quite a lot of good stories are included (not just 3-4). I bought it for myself but ended giving it to my 10-year-old niece. So, both old and young can enjoy this book.

I bought this as a gift for my Dad because he is so hard to buy for and from what he's told me (and the amount he's been looking at it!) he loves it. The illustrations are beautiful and everything down to the last detail is absolutely gorgeous. (:

The writing is lovely, illustrations and all-round presentation of the book is beautiful. A very nice re-telling and ideal as a gift. I have a few from the collection and they look great on my bookcase.

Quality of print is high. Content is good but not as good as I had hoped. The myths have been better told elsewhere.
