MONSTER CAMP: Stitch A Monster Pillow Kit

Got this for a 4 1/2 year old boy, who's been wanting to learn to sew. He wanted to put it together as soon as he saw it, and was SO excited about it! he actually glued the eye on before we realized it - put it on with out the white piece behind it, and placed it to one side, but he's still cute! With a little help holding as we went, he sewed all of it, and glued on the other pieces. He named him "Kenny", and loves him dearly!Only suggestion I would make is to do an overcast stitch around the outside instead of a running stitch. It's a little sturdier, and, with all the love this monster has gotten, Grandma had to restitch around him, as his edges were pulling loose!

Theoretically this is a cute little craft to introduce the concept of sewing but mine was missing the needle and had dried out glue.

My 7 year old had fun making it and loves the finished product.
