A Lot of Bow For The Money
Bow assembled easily enough and found it to be a solid bow. Draws very nicely; doesn't feel any heavier than my 45# Bear Grizzly. I only gave it 4 stars because the accessories aren't much. I went ahead and bought a rest at the same time and I suggest everyone else do the same, the plastic one that comes with the bow is worthless. The stringer works but there are better on the market. I also suggest getting some limb dampers and string silencers as it is loud out of the box but can be quieted down. I bought this as an inexpensive back up but I like it well enough I'm looking at making it my primary bow.

Really nice bow! I have been shooting archery for many ...
Really nice bow! I have been shooting archery for many years, but have always shot a compound bow. I have shot some recurve bows in the past, but have not owned one. I wanted to try one out, and I am glad that I got this one. For the price, I think that it is a very good bow that will last many years. I would also like to say thank you to Archers Full Throttle - not only did I receive the bow on time, but it was actually earlier than I expected!!The bow shoots very well, is very quiet (with the addition of some leather string dampeners, and cat whiskers). I would recommend this bow to anyone looking for a good bow at a nice price.

Best Bow for Beginners
Excellent bow for the money. As I am just beginning in archery this bow fits the bill perfectly. Plenty of power for hunting and distance. The riser is capable of receiving modern attachments and is very light. Easy to maintain and handle. I love this bow!

Martin Archery Warranty (or lack of)
4 stars for the bow1 star for Martin Archery WarrantyIn November 2016 I bought a brand new 2015 Martin Jaguar bow from an authorized Martin Archery reseller on ebay. The bow was supposed to have a full warranty for 1 year. The bow came with a very cheap/flimsy plastic arrow rest which broke within a week but not before destroying the fletching on a few of my arrows.I replaced the broken rest with another rest which had an adhesive side to be attached to the riser.Later I had to take the new rest off to reposition it.When I took the rest off it also took most of the paint in the area where it was placed. Now my black Martin Jaguar has an area of 1.5 X 0.75 inches without any paint (see photo 1).The arrow rest I used is really intended to be used with metal risers like this one (see photos 2, 3).I only shot this bow inside my garage and I always took good care of it, always handling it gently (never dropped it, etc). After 1 month of using the bow I have a variety of smaller places on the riser which lost their paint too.I believe that the painting job on the riser is bad, and that is the reason that it falls off.I contacted Martin Archery customer support about this issue within a month from the time of purchase.-They stated that the finish is not covered under warranty if you use an arrow rest with an adhesive sight.-They could not send me any paint so that I repaint the riser myself.-They could not even tell me what kind of black paint I should use on my riser. This should teach everybody a lesson about the value (or lack of) of Martin Archery warranty.

Great affordable bow.
I have yet to shoot this, but it looks great. 50 pound draw is a little tougher than I thought it would be.

Missing parts
WTF!! All that showed up was riser and limb, no string, no hardware to mount the limbs. They should have put that in the description. After calling Martin Archery, this bow is sold to Amazon as a complete kit (risers, limbs, string, stringer, foam to go between risers and limbs). What are you trying to pull Amazon?
