These labels were the perfect size for my spice jars. I have not had any problems with being able to erase previous writing. In fact, my chalk board marker seems to erase too well. I'm not sure if it's the labels or the marker, but they are very easily smudged. However, if I ever want to rewrite my labels, it's very easy to just erase them with a wet paper towel or cloth.

I used these to relabel my spice jars, and the small size was perfect. I had no problem fitting spice names on them as long as I used an extra fine point chalk marker (.5 mm). They stick well, wash off with glass cleaner as described, and look nice. I deducted one star because they are very textured which makes the writing look bumpy and sloppier than if they were smoother like my other labels.

Despite these possessing a textured grit to them reminiscent of sandpaper, I was still able to write on them... but it made my handwriting look kiddish and unprofessional. They didn't seem very high quality as I had hoped. I used these in conjunction with a chalkboard marker to label tea jars and canisters. The size worked for what I needed but even could have been just a smidge larger. You'd need a very fine point chalk pen/marker and have to write quite small or enlist a friend who can. They stick well. I can't vouch if they are to easy to wipe off as I have not attempted this task yet.

These labels are a perfect fit for the lids of the mini kilner jars that I purchased. I did not intend to use them with a chalk pen as I wanted permanent labeling of the jars for spices. I bought a permanent white pen and found out that it doesn't matter. If you apply water, the ink comes off. If the jars are dry, the ink cannot be rubbed or smeared. The labels look great on the jars.

I have a spice rack I like to use but the lids of the spices had permanent labels on them. I don’t use premixed things like poultry seasoning or pizza seasoning. I needed to re-label the bottles. These were the perfect size to cover the printed label that was already there. Now I can change the labels to match what’s in the jars. I used a regular piece of teacher’s chalk to write on them. It’s nice because it wipes off whenever I need to change the label.Also a plus, the labels stick very well! According to the instructions you can then remove them with a blow dryer if you need to (I haven't tested).

Bought these to label my glass spice jars along with the Bistro Chalk (fine point) Marker. I am very pleased with the end result! Practice on plain paper first to get the flow going and the lettering to the size you need. Let dry for 30 minutes and apply to your jars, no smudges! When you are finished, be sure and store your marker flat, if you don't it will not work properly when you are ready to use it again. Highly recommend these 2 items for your labeling needs!

I got these stickers to label my spice jars and they work very well, they are much sticker than other chalkboard stickers I have used so I don’t feel like I need to worry about them peeling. I did go to target and got their “permanent” chalk board pens to use with these because the other pens I get just kept wiping off immediately, but I’m fairly certain that’s a fault of the pens and not the stickers.

These tags are very durable! I can easily remove and relocate the tags if I so wish, they peel up cleanly and re-stick firmly. The surface of these decals is textured enough to feel with your fingertips, but not too much to compromise aesthetic value. I bought these for labeling spice jars, but I ended up using them for a lot of other stuff because they are so cute labeled by a white paint marker. Worth the price!
