A good quality took to give me information
These are easy to use and I can close them with my small feminine hands. They are fairly light-weight and do the trick. Having the testers allows me to identify if my horse's lameness is just a stone bruise or more serious like an abscess. But It gives me information so I know if I need a vet appointment or I can simply soak a foot.

Horse Hoof Tester
I got this horse hoof tester to have on hand when I got my horses. I never had a need for it until one of my horses went lame. I was able to try it out, & she reacted to it when I used it on her & on her back left foot. I had the vet out, & he did the same thing. Found out that she had an abscess in her back left hoof! It is made well & good quality. I would recommend any horse owner to have this one hand.

Good Hoof Tester
I got this because I needed to test my horse's feet before the farrier and vet could get to him. It arrived quickly, which is what I needed. I'm not that coordinated with it yet because I'm just learning, but I was able to easily test my horse's feet once I was holding his foot correctly!
