It’s Music
It’s a decent album and available on cassette, which means that I can listen to it in my severely outdated car.

Probably their best album, maybe behind Are Men
Probably their best album, maybe behind Are Men. This album contains many of the Barenaked Ladies best songs. One Week is incredibly catchy and you can listen to it many, many times. Never Is Enough is funny the first time you here it, and after that it continues to please. Who needs sleep is a great song, maybe made better if you actually have insomnia. Some of the songs took a while for me, but there are only 3 tracks on this album that I didn't like. I'll be that girl and In the car aren't bad songs, so it is very possible that you will enjoy them, but they ventured into a realm of weird that's not for me. When you dream is just dull, so much so in fact that it took a Wikipedia search to find out that there are two hidden songs at the end of it. Of those two songs, She's on time is good and long way back home has the quality of When you dream.

These guys didn't pull a "stunt" on me. I think that was supposed to be a joke. Sorry.
I'm always down to hear some "BnL" and this album is a real good collection.I can't say it's my favorite they've released. but these are some good songs, lots of upbeat tunes, which I always like.If you want a sampling, I'd recommend, "One Week", "Alcohol", and "Who Needs Sleep?". All the songs on this album are good though. If you don't buy it, at least listen to the songs on YouTube or something, they're really good.

An incredible CD, BNL's best
I'm not very good at describing music. but I do know what I like, and I think that this is one incredible CD.I think another reviewer hit it on the mark perfectly explaining that the songs on this CD combine beautiful sounding melodies and lyrics, but when you actually listen to the words you find they are often dark and disturbing, and they question conventional attitudes and social mores. It's intellectual music, and I love it.The only downside to this CD is that it doesn't get this good again. I bought Maroon and Maybe You Should Drive, and sadly discovered that BNL's other CDs just don't reach this level of accomplishment.

instant happy
I first listened to this album back in 1998, on cassette tape. I played that thing SO much it ended up breaking. When I saw that I could download it from the mp3 store it was instant happiness. This album is FUN. Even after 16 years (wow. Okay, I feel old) I remember almost every word and sing along. The songs are so catchy and upbeat. I don't think there's a single bad song on this album.

An adolescent favorite
This is probably not BNL's best album, but it is for me their fondest. I have listened to this album countless times in the many years it has been out. It of course has "One Week" which spent one week at the very top of the US charts, but it also has a number of other songs that made their appearance on the US and Canadian charts.

No review provided.
I'm not going to provide a write up on this album - I suggest you listen to a demo to see if it's for you. However, I'd like to remove it from my list of products to review, so am putting this in.

Arrives on time and looks great!
The item arrived a day earlier than stated. Although it was a Mother’s Day present I knew it wouldn’t arrive for then as I ordered it late. My mum has always wanted this album and loves it!

Wow
Someone elsewhere on this site described this album as "oddly addictive". Wow. Couldn't have put it better.I was a fan of BNL many years ago, but lost this album I've just bought another copy and I've fallen in love all over again - I literally can't get it out of my head, and walk down the street singing along. The songs are outrageously catchy (It's All Been Done, Alcohol), thoughfully beautiful (When You Dream), or just plain stupid - but in the best way possible (One Week). The bonus disc is also a great collection - Brian Wilson is classic BNL, and I challenge anyone not to grin like a loon when listening to the live version of If I Had $1000000.So a fantastic feel-good album, every song intelligent and well written. I couldn't recommend it more highly.
