Full Auto, Volume 1: AR-15 Modification Manual (The Combat bookshelf) Paperback – March 1, 2013

For a ‘modification manual’ there’s very little manual to it. More or less all the information could be found with a Google search. There’s very little discussion of the differences in M16 vs AR15 fire control groups, a description of an auto-sear, machinist drawings on an auto-sear, zero discussion or description of firing sequence and how the parts interact, and zero description of installation procedures or tools required. The essence of the book is this: you can buy these parts and install them to make your AR fire full auto, but good luck getting them legally. Completely misses the Lightning Link and any discussion of other conversion options. The most useful part of the book is one paragraph instructing the reader to file the appropriate paperwork with ATF prior to beginning any conversion.

Nothing special about the information in this book the cannot be found for free online. Also the width of the DIAS is wrong and its missing a slot depth. I recommend downloading the iges file from a free site called grab cam. If you have a software program that will open it you can extract the dimensions from their.

Of course not legal to do but in a time of crisis valuable information to have. Very short but well written and explained in great detail.

drawings are not shop worthy but specified dimensions work if you have a decent mill to work with. Some of this info is available from the patent office but it is a nice resource to start with.

Doesn't really tell you much. Probably could have surfed this off the internet in about 5 minutes for what it actually tells you.
