Our 30lb goldendoodle seems pretty happy in the L size of this.We just had her spayed so and she has to wear this for 10-14 days. It's a BIG improvement over a cone, which she finds incredibly frustrating.I say buy two because we're only 7 days in now, and both I and my partner have forgotten to "lift the flap" before taking her out to potty. Of course she just gives us a confused look as we tell her to "go potty" all over her doggy suit. And it ends with us each having to stay up until 1AM waiting for her doggy suit to be clean. Buying two suits for a 10 day recovery may seem excessive, but having that extra one when you do forget would be great...

My puppy is 7 months old, 14 lbs. The medium fit him perfectly. I put it on him in place of the cone that was applied by the Vet clinic. My pup needed a recovery suit that would securely cover the area of stitches from the neuter surgery, this suit did it perfectly. To take him outside for potty, you simply detach the wide velcro leg straps, and roll up the suit onto the dogs back. It allows him to go pee. They can still #2 with the suit intact in that it doesnt go directly under the tail. Its lightweight so it didn't make my puppy too hot. Luckily my pup didn't try to lick or pull stitches with the suit on but would recommend only using while keeping a close eye on the pup. Highly recommend this product.

This surgical recovery suit was perfect for my golden retriever while she healed from extensive surgery on her back. She had about 100 staples in her back after having multiple masses removed. The suit was soft easy to take on and off and didn’t irritate the staplesWould definitely buy again

Anything to help the puppers! Worked great we never had to use a cone. He did eat threw some of it on night 3. The under belly part has extra fabric so even if they do lick the area at night they can’t get to the incision! Love this and it looks adorable on. Super dog suit!

I measured my dog prior to ordering, but this was a little short. She wasn't very comfortable in it. Also, she would lick at the belly of the suit and it wicked up so much saliva that it reached her incision. That said the fabric was nice and soft and the velcro is strong. If I had put her cone on instead of the inflatable collar the moisture wicking wouldn't be an issue. I didn't use the strap that was for keeping the back half out if the way while she is doing business because it was just easier to criss cross the velcro while she peed.

Update: on night 3 he was somehow able to wiggle out of his suit! It was still fully velcroed, so that should tell you that a) the Velcro is super strong and b) my dog is a literal escape artist! Still a great product for the price!I purchased this the day after our puppy was neutered, and I wish I would have bought it before! We tried e collars, but they didn't work out, so I did the shirt trick and it worked okay but he hated it, and night 1 I realized he was Houdini in dog form and woke up to him nakey happily licking his stitches, plus I was constantly following him around and adjusting it. When I put this on him it was like our puppy was finally back he wanted to play and was no longer moping around the house. He seems comfy and we finally got some sleep!! Plus it is easy to roll up when nature calls.I purchased a size large after looking at the sizing chart because of his length. I wanted it to be loose enough to be comfortable but not so loose that he could reach his stitches. With the Velcro on the back it can easily be adjusted! Great product!

I bought this for my border/heeler/german shepherd cross for her spay. I didn't want to use the Elizabethan collar on her. AKA - the cone of shame. It's not the best fit. Especially for the front legs. It pulls at the chest on her. I bought the XXL for her. She weighs 55 lbs for reference. She is long through the back. Hence it pulls at the front. I am confident that I purchased the correct size. Any larger would be far to big for a dog her size. All in all, I would buy this again just so she doesn't have to wear the cone.

We were heartbroken to see our dog with dammed Cone Of Shame, we couldn't walk properly, play, eat or anything.. and the way he looked at us.. OMG that was the killer! We tried several other products that promised the same but only this one achieved the goal! It was very easy to put and roll up for our dog to go that he will actually will wait for us to pull it up and roll it down every single time. Is like he understood this was way better than the cone! He was able to move, walk and play like nothing happened.. but he knew something did happened!! We removed some extra hair with a lint roll during the 3 weeks we used it before putting it on the laundry and strait to the dog from the dryer. While in cleaning we used a T-shirt that he always managed to remove. By the way, our dog is an English Golden Retriever and he was 12 months old.

This was SO much better than the cone. Our dog went from depressed to back to his normal self as soon as this was on!One small thing, the way you’re instructed to do it up for using the washroom did NOT work for us and he peed on it multiple times. I think we washed it 4 times in the first 36 hours of him wearing it. Now we put it around his front and Velcro to the back and then roll it up and it works great.
