Plantraco RC Micro Blimp UFO Flying Saucer

Thought this would be a neat toy for my son. What it did not say was that you need a newer generation I-pad to make it work. The new version of this uses some low frequency blue tooth tech that the older I-pads do not have. As it happens I have an I-pad just not a newer one. Just not going to drop $400 to play with a balloon. Product pics show a small controller, but you don't get that. I bet this would have been fun to annoy each other with, but now I have a bottle of Helium and a toy I can't use. Wish the description would have been more clear.

I've thoroughly enjoyed this toy blimp. I used a retired iPhone 5 on both modes of control and it was pure fun. I liked the fact that it connected to the charger through a micro USB connection. Previous small blimps were charged from the controller. This system worked much better.

I can't make the bluetooth connection. I'm using an ipad ios 9.2.1 and read the instructions from the manufacture on another post. . In the app I downloaded, I went to settings as the instructions stated, but there is no "scan" button to push. I'll update if I can get a solution from the manufacture.

Please note, you need to provide your own helium. It's pretty challenging to control, but still quite a bit of fun.

Rather delicate, but functional and fun. Latex balloons don't stay inflated very long.

Disappointing product. Does not come with instructions. There is no Android app, only iOS. Needs a newer ipod, ipad or iphone, as it requires a higher level of Bluetooth than the older models have. I had great hopes for this unique product, but it appears to be half-baked.

I love it ! So much fun!

No directions, your on your own, wont connect. Wonderful bought 3 of em for xmas.
