BSI - 16" Strand of Millefiori Flower Lampwork Glass Beads ~ (65pcs 6mm Round)

I received these today after waiting beyond the promised delivery date. Im disappointed in the size of them but thats my fault. Im a new beader. It very clearly stated they were 6mm in size but the pictures looked much bigger. I expected much bigger beads. My fault. But im bummbed anyway. They are very pretty though. Lots of repeat beads in the strand. But i did get a 16 inch strand. I didnt count the beads but im pretty sure there is at least 65 beads. There is a lot. Next time i just need to pay better attention to size.

I really should read the size of the bead, the pictures make the beads look huge, and I was wanting large beads. And these beads are the size of a BB. Not what I wanted at all. Maybe a comparison chart would help those like me.

It can be difficult to shop around Amazon for items like beads because there are so darn many choices and we all want to get a great deal. When you see a great variation in star ratings, you always hesitate to take the plunge. These bead sets are all so low in cost that I thought I wasn't risking much. I was right!I'm sorry not everyone had my good experience but you can see that the most helpful negative reviews are between 1-3 years old. This must mean that it took Beading Station some time to get consistency right because I had no problem with that now. This review can only indicate one item I purchased here but I have received these: Beading Station 65-Piece Mix Millefiori Flower Lampwork Glass Round Beads, 6mm Beading Station 48-Piece Millefiori Flower Lampwork Glass Round Beads, 8mm  and I just ordered these: Beading Station 40-Piece Mix Millefiori Flower Glass Coin Beads, 10mm My sets are just as described and as pictured. The 8mm round beads just arrived today, 3 weeks after ordering, and at first I was bothered by the little baggie inside the package having opened so that a few beads were rolling around. But the envelope is a bubble-wrap manila envelope so they were quite secure. Then I was rolling them in my hand and discovered one that was broken in 2. Happily, I counted 51 beads so that was an extra anyway.The holes are even in both the 6mm and 8mm and the colors are vibrant. I think these are a great bargain.

I am revising my review of this product, which I NEVER have done. When I cooled off on how little they are, which I still thnk that they are little, but I have looked at them and they are very beautiful. I have made several necklaces out of them that are quite beautiful. I was wiping off this clear glass container that I put a candle in. I was thinking how pretty it would be to have these millefiori beads on the outside with a candle glowing on the inside. It turned out beautiful!!! I glued them on to the glass with E6000. Once they dry they really stick like crazy. The problem is that it is a slow drying glue. It's really strongh though, once it dries. Anyway I am sorry I left a bad review at first. I was really shocked by the size. I still wish they were bigger. Maybe I could take a photo and show you guys. Anyway don't expcet large beads, but look at beauty.

Cute little glass beads!

I had originally purchased the 65 piece Lampwork Beads Millefiori set by Beading Station. It was so cute! I made a bunch of stretch bracelets out of the beads. A friend of mine liked them so much she asked me to make some for her, too. When I ordered the brand again, I discovered it would take months to ship them from China. So, instead of waiting, I ordered these. They are very nice beads, but I must say that the smaller ones are cuter, imho, but these will definitely do. I hope she likes them as much! I will report.

I picked 5 stars because I felt that each bead could be made machine-like, and rolled all together, but they look like someone cared about them enough to go sit down and add some extra colors and patterns here and there....if the whole thing wasn't pleasantly made by hand. Colors that don't seem like they go....look so good...like flowers in nature- they have color combos that can sometimes be crazy too; but they work.These were packed well to guard against water or damage due to smashing :) and I think they will be a fun bunch of bracelets or bracelets with matching necklaces for the summer. Teens to 28's maybe
