These hand rails are very sturdy. Fitted to aid my elderly parents getting in and out of the front door. Look stylish. Followed the instructions to the letter and I did a great job of fitting them.

Great looking hand rail, purchased for my mother-in-law.Looks smart and not like ‘scaffolding’ , as some do !!Like the fact you can adjust the angle to your desired preference, although this needs to be done BEFORE finally screwing into the wall, as this will be permanent.Very sturdy (up to now!)Also good that the screw fixings are included with the product.Some DIY knowledge needed, as well as strength for using a hammer!! Your own Correct size drill bit needed to drill holes into wall and floor.

I was surprised at how sturdy this rail is for the price. I think the floor plate could be a larger diameter with bigger and one more fixing point to ensure lasting stability but overall it is very well made. The supplied fixings are no doubt adequate, but I will be replacing the floor bolts with longer and bigger guage fixings, purely for my own peace of mind. Generally I am very happy with this rail and I will be purchasing another one in the very near future.
