Fun in the Sun with herbs & veggies!
~Fun in the Sun with herbs & Veggies~Fresh veggies & herbs all in 1 place & easy to move around for SunI have read the reviews on this, I had no issues putting the item together at all. Yes takes time when building it alone but well worth it.I was worried it would be hard to put together but was really easy to get all the pieces together. What I really like about it is the mobility to move it around. It seems sturdy to me & I put a lot of dirt in it.I did put duct tape over the holes as I wanted to keep the water & soil in the planter. I guess that is a personal choice on leaving the holes opened or closed.I had lots of herbs growing last year with no issues, this year I moved it to a deck & had to go up 14 stairs moving myself. Not an issue worked like a dream a little bumpy on the way up but it looks great. As far as it being sturdy or lasting this in my 2nd year with the planter with no issues. Yes I left it out in harsh winter conditions in upstate NY piled high of snow, ice & what ever else we got in the winter.I am thinking of getting another one so I can keep one for herbs & 1 for vegetables so that tells you I really like it & got a lot of use out of it.Taking up no real space is a charm for me.Micro greens & herbs did really good in the planter, not for big heavy tomato plants though but regular vegetables were perfect for it!

Love these
New to fruit/veg gardening, but did a lot of research before jumping in. There were a few things I wanted to have: 1. Height. I did not want to crawl around in the dirt. 2. Drainage. Because duh. 3. Portability. I live in Jersey and wanted to be able to bring everything indoors if needed, and 4. Shelves. This was the only thing I found that met all criteria and wasn’t hundreds of dollars. Plus, it wasn’t wood that needs treating/staining, so it was pretty perfect. I bought two. They have two drainage holes on opposite sides of the planter bed and metal doesn’t breathe, so design accordingly. Do not put something especially susceptible to root rot in the center of the planter. Also, the drainage holes are about the size of a nickel. I lost some soil on the first fill. I put an aero press filter on each hole on the second. Problem solved.I will be building a worm tower, but have been burying scraps directly in the bed here and there. Seems to be working. My container garden is set up in the driveway with southern exposure, easy access to a hose, and a quick escape from weather. To prevent overwatering, I pull everything into the garage during heavy rains. If I ever decide to build a greenhouse, most of my garden is already on wheels. They can be a little twisty-feeling when fully loaded, but I’ve moved them dozens of times without incident. I love these things and will buy a third for next year once back in stock.Tips: invest in good soil and get a soil moisture/ph tester. Know how deep your plant likes to root. Corn roots out laterally, so at the moment at least, mine is thriving. My sunflowers were recently transplanted to a grow bag, however.

Flimsy and weak when filled with soil
Assembling the cart was easy and quick, but the flimsy construction made moving the cart around the patio really difficult. It would wobble and sway once I had filled it with plants until one day one of the legs bent completely! I don't recommend this if you are going to need to move the cart at all.

Keeps me up off the ground!
I love having an herb garden, being able to snip a sprig of thyme or rosemary, bring fresh sage in for stuffing--etc. It's hard for me to get up and down now so these elevated carts work great! Not too hard to assemble, even for a 73 yr. old woman--but I love to put things together. All the parts came, packaged according to assembly instructions. Just ran into one teeny problem. I received two of the same legs where the axel for the wheels was supposed to go through. The holes, of course, didn't line up so having wheels wasn't possible. But, I called to see if they could send me the correct missing leg and, when they didn't have one in inventory, they just sent me another cart! So now, I have two great carts--one with wheels, one without--and two extra wheels and an axle. Great deal. So far, I'm loving these carts.

No problem growing sunflowers
Fantastic planter. Very spacious. Fits 3 sunflowers that are over 6 feet tall with random plants scattered in between. They're all healthy, so I know the size of this planter is not an issue. Very convenient wheels and tool hooks. Very handy bottom shelf where I keep my carnivorous plants and other garden stuff.

Great gardening cart
Arrived ahead of schedule in good shape. Parts were well labeled and small pieces were in separate bags. Assembly was not difficult and directions were pretty clear. It took about 90 minutes for my 60+ aunt, would have probably been half that with a 2nd set of hands but she wanted to do it all herself. Should get excellent use on a deck and hold plenty of plants. One annoying issue is the labels on the parts do not peel off well at all but only a couple can be seen on the upright finished cart. Will need some goo gone to remove. Update-the felt tip marker included was completely dry. Glad I keep a couple Sharpies around.

its mobile and price was right
decided to move my veggies to the deck this year cause it gets more sun than where my garden is. so i wanted something that i could put a few items in and move if need be to the area with most sun. i liked this one for the price and the wheels. also, wood in my area seems to rot fast and i didnt want to mess with more rotting wood (though i would for right price and build). so ive had it for a few months now and it mobile and veggies are doing well. water drains well. it was easy enough to put together. wish it were a little wider, deeper, or longer....or all three haha. coworker is a container gardener and after seeing mine she got one too and is pleased.
