Great origin story of Klaus
A great origin story of the main man himself, lovely festive read. Some gore and a familiar foe rears his head later on. Klaus has attitude and kicks ass.

Santa Claus: Superhero
A really lovely story that is also packed with action and adventure, making the origins of Santa something that modern audiences would love too. The new evolution of Santa Claus begins, as a superhero

Well Written and Beautifully Illustrated
Graphic novelist Grant Morrison teams up with illustrator Dan Mora to provide a fantastical adaptation of the Santa Claus tale, with a Norse mythology twist. Lost love, a maniacal narcissist, supernatural creativity, Krampus, humor... it's all here in one of the most beautifully illustrated stories I've ever read. This is not a Christmas story for little ones, but it's a fun story for middle school kids and beyond.

Santa with a dark twist!
Grant Morrison re-imagines the legend of Santa Claus in "Klaus" and it's the amazing inks by Dan Mora that make this graphic novel an absolute page turner.Klaus in this tale is a wild man with a snowy-white wolf called Lilli for a side-kick. The story mixes magic, folklore, witchcraft, shamanism and what not. Morrison throws in a mad tyrant ruling over a town called Grimsvig, where celebrations of any kind is banned. Enter Klaus, a wild rebel, who vows fo bring joy back into the lives of people and he starts off by dropping gifts at the doorstep of every child in the town.Lilli the wolf doesn't get a lot of space in this comic-series, but she is a show stealer every time she makes an appearance. Majestic and adorable at the same time. Artist Dan Mora has done an incredible job with the some of the characters.Klaus looks like a blend of Wolverine/Robinhood and is dressed up like one of those hooded heroes from the game "Assassin's Creed".There's a lot of action, blood and conflict through the pages that makes this series engaging AF.
