Possibly the best $20.00 watch band on Amazon
I bought and installed this strap on a Seiko SKX173. Typically, the OEM Seiko rubber "Wave" strap costs around $19 and in my experience, they typically last about 1.5 to 2 years betore they become brittle and crack. This time, I decided to go with something different. For the miniscule amount of $20.00, the Yisuya Shark Mesh stainless steel strap might be the best value out of the entire catalog of watch bands sold on Amazon.com. I ordered it on 08/19; it was shipped from China with a scheduled delivery date was after 09/15, but it instead arrived on 08/30, 2 weeks early. The package contained the watchband, 4 spring bars, and a spring bar tool. The mesh strap appeared to be very well made, with nice big links, far thicker in diameter than the thin links commonly found in mesh bands at this price point. The clasp is also of higher quality than typically found on a $20 metal watch bracelet. The band also features 4 removable links, secured by screw down bars instead of the usual U-Pins (for lack of a better term), so adjusting the bracelet to size is a very simple task. All that is needed is a small jeweler's screwdriver and the band can be resized in minutes. I've attached some pictures. I have yet to wear the watch over an extended period, but as an avid watch collector, I doubt if this watch band will present any issues. It feels good, it's solid, and I believe it should last the life of my watch. I have purchased other mesh watch bands priced from $80 to $120; those watch bands are only slightly better in quality than this Yisuya mesh band. For $20.00, this watch band is a no-brainer "must buy" purchase for anyone looking for a mesh band.

Don't underestimate those ugly sharp edges in the reviews
The sharp edges people mention...they're not just unfinished edges that would be beveled on a nicer band...they're sloppy cuts where the band was shortened with tin snips. The mesh is an interlocking band of rings that is probably manufactured in a continuous roll...and instead of using purpose-made ends for this band and cutting a section completely off, it seems that they just snip these things to length. Cheap cheap cheap. That said, it's decently nice looking, and nobody is likely to see how chincy it is at the ends. But those sharp edges are near/against your watch, so beware of scratches. I did get a cut on my finger that was bad enough to sting for a couple days. If I had it to do over again, I'd pass on this one. I've already bought a nicer band to replace this one.

Great value and looks, but not perfect quality in the details
I received the band very quickly, and it is a very good value based on appearance and price.however, i am giving only 4 stars as the detail quality is less than perfect:1 the thread on one of the pins that are used to connect the T bars to the mesh was stripped out of the box. Since i removed two of the T bars because of length and looks, that ended up being tolerable.2. the little mushroom-shaped pin that sticks out from the clasp and helps it snap together does spin freely when i twist it. This is somehow disconcerting as this pin ultimately hold the whole band closed, so losimg it would be bad. i will try at some point to apply some locktite.i guess i could have asked for a replacement bracelet, but it seems wasteful and a hassle...3. the edges of the stainless steel sheet metal parts of the clasp are a bit sharp. Ok for the price, and certainly usable. but less than perfect.4. one of the hinge elements of the clasp is spot welded to the corresponding part. that is not a quality flaw but a design choice. But it does constitute a possible failure point, and i have seen such bracelets that were designed without welding, all machined connections with pins, thread bars etc

Over priced for quality
I was looking to replace my leather band on my citizen eco-drive watch it was between a shark mesh or a milanese band. I went with a thicker more manly band i looked at a few different ones and didn’t like the way some had the cheaper clips that you had to adjust and i liked that this one it had link sections you could remove. Received it in the mail first thing i noticed was it was to chromed out i was looking for a more brushed look but thats on me but at the same time the links are chrome and the adjusters are chrome but the latch is brushed metal doesnt look right and thats what i went off of the clasp. Next thing was the links are crooked and off center thats just poor craftsmanship when these types of links are crooked the band bends at wierd angles while on the wrist. And last the way the links are done they had to cut some to connect the hardware and thats the main issue i have it left some very sharp edges where the links meet the clasp at least on mine i can see these edges getting caught on clothes cutting or tearing what ever i slide my wrist against. Would i buy this style of band again yes i would its nice thick and not overly heavy would i buy this brand again definitely not. I like the band barely enough to keep it but if i knew any of this Before I ordered i would have gone with something elseOne other potential issue is the way the band attaches to the spring bar most bands have some sort of housing that the spring bar sits in that covers the spring bar visually and also ads a little protection to the spring bar itself this is just an exposed spring bar with about 9 links attached to it doesn’t look good and looks weak

Looks good in the photo but....
Pictures make this look like great. The photographer gets five stars. The product however does not match the look of quality. The buckle on this strap is about as cheap as anything I have seen. The overlap clasp jams up when you attempt to clasp it and must be jiggled around before it will finally snap into place. It then really doesn't snap into place but rather pushes into place only to release itself at the slightest jostle of the wrist. The links have metal burs on the ends that will snag on clothing or scratch the wearer. I wouldn't trust this piece to hold a trash watch must less one of value.

Now that’s a great watch band.. very nice finish..Shark Mesh itself very safe.. no poor cuts or bad trim anywhere.. has not snagged clothing or cut skin in “ intensive “ wear test.. very well worth it !! .. Shown on my guy’s Seiko SKX 009 J1
