Smoker basket is sturdy and fits in my Highland Smoker Firebox very easily. The item dimensions are as described and basket seems to make the coals burn more evenly. I do wish this basket had a flat reinforcing edge around the top and bottom as some other I've worked with in the past. The uneven nature of the bottom makes the item slip through the cracks of the grill I have and not slide or sit easily for adjustments. Otherwise, great seller and on time delivery. Thanks!

This basket makes the difference when using a cheap, offset smoker. I have a Smoke Hollow 4-in-1, and it comes with a rack, which is really designed for logs instead of charcoal. The charcoal briquettes then spread out too much and cant hold a steady temp, meaning you have to keep dumping in more coal than you should, and you have to constantly adjust the air dampener. This makes smoking the large cuts not-fun because you will spend 12+hrs tending to your smoker instead of doing periodic checks and going about other tasks.This basket changes the game for the backyard smoker. It will keep all the briquettes together, and thus keep the heat well regulated. You can get your heat adjusted and then walk away for 3-4hrs without having to add any more coals for those long smokes.This is a must-have addition for the simple backyard smokers that rely on charcoal and wood chunks instead of logs.

This works fantastic with my Char Griller side smoker attachment. Fits perfectly, see my you tube photos on how I attached it while still being able to open ash drawer.

This 10 x 10 x 6 Arc Smokers Charcoal basket works great in my Oklahoma Joe's Highland. Not sure exactly how it works better, but I can get about 70 minutes burn out of a chimney full of briquettes at 250, as compared to 45-50 minutes burn at 250, without. For long burns just add lit charcoal as needed. Also, on longer burns, you do not have to worry so much about the ashes at the bottom blocking oxygen flow. A chimney of briquettes will fill this slightly over half full.This company makes a slightly larger version of this type basket that will fit the OKJ Highland. I am happy with this size. I've owned several smokers, currently using a modified Oklahoma Joe. Fire baskets offer better control of airflow and temperature and this one is rugged enough to use often.

I purchased this item because I have a Longhorn offset smoker and my charcoal and wood were burning too quickly. It arrived today on 6 July, 2017 and will be preparing a brisket for pastrami this weekend! It's fits perfectly in my offset smoker box! It's sturdy and will last a long time for sure!

Wow, well made & worth every penny. Bought this for my Char Griller Off Set Smoker & it fits perfectly in the side fire box, you can manage a lot more charcoal, makes my coals last a lot longer which means you can also control your heat better. A must for anyone that owns an Off Set Smoker.
