VSP525KIT 750W Peak (250W RMS) 5.25" V-Series 2-Way Component Speaker System with 25mm Silk Dome Tweeters

Very exceptional set of speakers for the price. Crossovers are good and are what the name brands give you when you spend 3x as much. Name brands at this price only give you a very basic inline crossover. Sound quality is excellent as is the power handling. Silk tweeters are smooth and crisp...If you have the extra $40 and space in your vehicle I would highly recommend the NVX® XSP65KIT. As good as this set is the few extra dollars with NVX gets you an even more amazing value and a big upgrade in quality and output.

So I just installed this component system on a 2011 HD Street Glide. Finding somewhere to mount the crossovers proved to be challenging, but I got creative. The tweeter speakers were a little larger than my stock tweeters, so could not just straight replace my old ones. But again, creativity for the win. Everything fit very slugly under my fairing without issue. As far as sound quality, the difference was unreal. This is the 2nd time I've replaced the speakers. I had replaced the original equipment HD speakers with a pair of Kicker speakers, and was amazed at the difference then. But I have to say, if the increase in performance from stock to Kicker, was a 100% improvement, the upgrade to the NVX component system was a 1000% improvement over the Kickers. I only have fairing speakers, but now have a sound that is a complete surround-sound. The sound is very deep and rich, especially next to the Kicker speaker. I only hooked up 1 side first so that I could compare the difference, and the NVX made the Kicker sound very "tinny". I'll mention that one of the Kicker speakers had actually blown, which is what sparked the replacement. But this NVX system is hands down the best speakers I have heard in this price range. They sound like Bose speakers. With the Kickers, I could never turn the stereo above 15 out of 40 on volume, or they would sound distorted. With the NVX, I'm at 10 out of 40 to outperform the Kickers. The speakers handle 15 like it's nothing, but it's so loud, I can't even hear my bike any more. And my exhaust is LOUD. I expect I'll actually be able to hear the music with a full-face helmet on, which is also difficult usually.

Bought in January, was working fine up until now. Front left component speaker stopped working. Checked all wiring on my end.

Honestly can't complain. I only have the 5.25 speakers in currently and not the tweeters yet for my 01 3 series, and it sounds great for stock headunit and a harmonkardon amp and even with the stock amp. This is worth getting for nearly any vehicle if you want good mids and highs. These do produce decent bass, but will eventually clip and distort if you don't utilize a amp. Can't complain with these other then the price point.

I read a handful of YouTube reviews that convinced me to give these NVX speakers a chance. Long story short, I am extremely impressed on all fronts, the speakers are well constructed with solid materials, the magnets are heavy and motor quality seems to be very good at this price point. I used them in a super budget build for my son's Suburban and paired them up with a Walmart "Dual" 4 channel amp (again, check the reviews and amp dyno). These things are loud and sound really clean without the tweeters being too bright or brassy. I was able to get really excellent sound quality using the 3 band EQ on the deck and the filter settings on the amp. I'd buy these and the 6" coaxial speakers in without question. Get them before NVX raises the price, they're worth it!

Well built and seem to be top quality materials. I installed these in my 07 Harley electraglide and they fit as if made for it. The tweets fit right into two unused gauge holes as you can see in the pic. The x overs sat right atop the stereo HU. Didn't think to take a pic prior to reinstalling the fairing. Two gripes, first there are no speaker leads for the mids, second the x overs are screws down terminals get the tweeter leads have make spades on the ends so had to cut the terminals to attach to x overs then had to cut and splice factory leads to attach to x overs. Not a huge deal bit it seems such a obvious thing to miss from a marketing standpoint. Will have to wait till I upgrade the power to really see what they're capable of but the mid highs to top range seems to stay crisp and alive on a loud ass Harley. Just no midbass punch with just factory power.

Bought them August 1st installed them, sounds is great but one stopped working a month into it. Wouldn't recommend

Great sound quality and outstanding value. In comparison to kicker comp c’s which are a $200ish component set(if I remember right) they sound about the same for less than half the price. I will keep this brand in mind for speakers in the future. They are cheap but I wouldn’t even rank them as a budget speaker. They compete w the name brands. I’m powering them at 70 watts RMS each on a 4x70 kenwood. So I can’t speak as to whether they will take a full 100watts rms but they sound great
