This is a very unique item for the outdoor deck, dock or patio life. With the Patented Universal Clamping System it can attach to the many different size and shape (round or square) upright balusters of a deck, dock, patio or fence. The clamp will adjust from a depth of 3/8 inch to 2 inches the width has a maximum of 2 1/8 inches. Using the same clamping system to securely hold the many different size pole accessories like Umbrellas, Shepherds Hooks, Garden Torches, Flagpoles and more. Note: Do not use with larger offset umbrellas. Ensure your railing or baluster can hold the additional weight.

Awesome mount worth every penny!
At first I was very hesitant to spend $40 on an umbrella mount. I am very happy I went ahead with the purchase. It's awesome!! Super sturdy. Well made (USA). Goes up fast and easy. Have had it in place for little over a month now and it hasn't budged a bit. I highly recommend this mount. It is worth every penny! I will be purchasing a second one in the near future. Don't hesitate just buy it already!

This thing is awesome and works exactly as advertised.
I have been trying to figure out how to attach hummingbird feeders to our porch. Most of the devices assume one have a flat or level top railing. With a decorative railing those types won't work. These attach to the vertical poles and once tightened, they seem very secure. We've had some high winds and the pole I mounted was iron and rather heavy, but it doesn't budge. Excellent product.

Heavy Duty problem solver
Wanted to add an umbrella over my grille area for sun and rain in the summer. I found many flimsy options and heldback until I found this. Its PERFECT for my wooden rail deck. I liked the setup and sturdiness of this mount. So simple to install. I went and bought another to add another umbrella on other side of deck railing. Really changed my entertainment options in summer where on a very hot and sunny day, more people can be covered

Works great
I really like how this functioned. I did not have to drill holes. I used it with some aluminum poles and attached some string lights. I was very pleased with the end result. It sticks out enough that I did not have to worry about the top rail.

I am very happy with this purchase. The umbrella stand is very durable and will last a very long time. I am happy that my umbrellas no longer blow away and the metal plates are so sturdy that I will not have to purchase more of these anytime soon. It's working great!
This is a very good product. It holds a large umbrella with no tipping, and I have light to moderate winds every afternoon. Read the description of the size baluster it's designed. for Mine was 1/8" over the 1-1/4' that the screws are designed for, and I was just able to make it fit. However, if the baluster had been even slightly larger I would have had to purchase longer screws. Otherwise, super easy to install.
