Works fine but not very powerful
I suppose this pump does exactly what it's supposed to do but the flow rate is very low, even on max. I originally purchased these for a 3 gallon paludarium build. I wanted to pump water only a foot vertically, which this pump does just fine, but the flow rate is too low for my needs. I went with what I thought was the overkill pump but I wish I would have gone even stronger.

Best for outdoor applications
The functionality is great but very noisy. I'm using this on a waterfall feature for a large reptile enclosure. It performs its task better than I had predicted but is also far louder than I'm sure I can tolerate. The motor drowns out the sound of the waterfall effect.

Took a chance, Very Impressed with what I received!
I was very hesitant about whether these little pumps would actually move a significant quantity of water for their size. I opened up the package when it arrived and was rather impressed with the build quality. I placed it in my 20 gallon turtle enclosure and plugged it in. At first I though it was very under-powered, and figured that I got what I paid for. I took it back out of the water and spun the dial to the full wide open position and placed it back in the tank, not expecting much of a difference. I was very surprised of how much water moves! I thought I was going to have to use both to get the desired results, but now I have a spare, as 1 completely does the job! If you buy these, don't make the same mistake that I did and forget to check the dial for the desired output. Mine was set to minimum flow when I received mine. Not a big deal in the end, but worth mentioning as some of the other ones I have seen listed were not adjustable which is why I didn't check mine when I put it in. Great Value for the money and Highly recommended!

Don't let the looks fool you
It looks cheap but it's very good pumps for the money you can't go wrong. I live off grid so I use it for all kinds of water transfer it emptys a 55gal drum in no time 5 stars all day long good fast delivery on time thank you seller I'll be back

You get what you pay for
The media could not be loaded. I actually had to buy another pump that had more power because the one I bought wasn't powerful enough, good for smaller fountains
