Rockland Single Handle Rolling Backpack, BLACKDOT, One Size

My daughter loves her new backpack. I’ll admit that I took it for a spin myself. The rolling action is very smooth and quiet on most surfaces. The size is perfect for all of her school books and laptop computer. The three sections offer much room for anything a student might need. The dimensions are suitable for anyone 7+ years old to carry. In addition it fits nicely between the front and rear seats of my car.The main suggestions I have are deeper side pockets that can hold a bigger water bottle(20oz) and the roller handle could be a bit sturdier when fully extended, but I love that it’s a single pole.

This is very lightweight and has several pockets for different things. The wheels are very sturdy. I love it..

So happy with this bag. I am able to pack all my books around as needed and my neck and shoulder no longer hurt. The handle does feel a little flimsy but it has held up great so far. The wheels feel sturdy and have no problem getting over uneven pavement or bumps. I am just thrilled

I UNDERSTAND THINGS HAPPEN BUT ROCKLAND/FOX LUGGAGE'S CUSTOMER SERVICE IS CRAP! IF I HAD TO BASE THIS ON THE COMPANY, THEY WOULD GET 0 STARS!I purchased this for my 3rd grader who is in love with this backpack. the handle came apart just outside of 30 days. I purchased the extended warranty so i contacted asurion who directed me to the vendor, since it was still under manufacturer warranty. i contacted Rockland luggage using the contact # from asurion and they told me i had to email them. I emailed Rockland and when they got back to me they wanted to charge me 50% of the original purchase cost, saying that it was the "SHIPPING FEE." REALLY???? this backpack came apart after 30 days and you want to charge me 50% of the of the price and this is under warranty???? when i questioned them on it, they said they would only charge me $17 to replace it, which is STILL 36% of the original purchase price. HONESTLY, IF I COULD SWITCH TO ANOTHER VENDOR, I WOULD. ROCKLAND/FOX LUGGAGE DOES NOT HAVE GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND UNSAVORY BUSINESS PRACTICES!!!!DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DON'T ORDER FROM ROCKLAND/FOX LUGGAGE.

This bag has kept my laptop safe now for three years, and I use it almost every single day, hauling it back and forth to work. It goes up steps, gets thrown into the back seat of my car, is dragged over pavement, grass, curbs, whatever. It's still rolling, all straps intact, handle still sturdy. I have stuffed this thing to the gills without issue. It has plenty of compartments -- padded laptop compartment inside the main compartment, plus a section with plenty of room for books and "stuff." It also has a sizable zipper compartment with two smaller zipper compartments on the front, and sections that will hold a water bottle and a telescoped umbrella on the sides. It works great, plus it's cute as all get-out! One of the best purchases I've ever made.Edited 6/18/2016 - Edited to say, I still love this thing. It still puts up with all the abuse I throw at it. Still cute. And yes, I paid full price, and I'd do it again in a hot minute, except that I love the one I've already got so darned much that I don't think I could stand to replace it.Edited 4/24/2018 - Still rolling! Backpack fell apart in two weeks. 1st the strap broke when it got caught in wheel then the retractable handle came apart and unable to put back together. So cute but unreliable . Was purchased to help our 12yr old not have to carry backpack

2.75 stars because the bag is not exactly horrible but is noticeably subpar. For a product with an MSRP of $120.00 I'd expect better workmanship. The stitching is questionable in more than a few places and I'm concerned that it will unravel sooner than later. Beyond that, I just received the bag and upon the first unzip to inspect the bag's interior, I could already feel 2 of the zippers "sticking" in a couple spots along each of their tracks; so I KNOW that will be a problem as well. The extending handle only locks into one height and isn't the most sturdy. But for now, I really needed this bag a month ago. Plus, I got it at a steep discount. So I'm going to keep it.The positives are that the bag is very spacious. It has a nice sized drop pocket placed strategically in front of a organization pocket that has room for writing implements, notecards, calculator, etc. There is a decently padded laptop section in the center of the bag. And, of course, a large compartment at the rear that can fit everything I need with room to spare.The straps are great because they are fairly easy to unlatch and tuck away--which keeps them from being in the way when I'm rolling the bag about. The pockets on the back of the bag that the straps tuck into, as well as the straps themselves, are lightly padded; making carrying the bag comfortable as long as the contents isn't overly heavy.The wheels seem good. They roll smoothly and quietly. The bag is easily maneuverable. And comes in nice vibrant colors.If you can get a good price on this bag, I'd recommend it. Otherwise, I'd say: If you can afford something more durable or with a better warranty, pass on this one.

Sturdy and well built Bags. Bought the first one for my eldest and she still uses it - going into her 3rd year of use. This one is for my youngest and I'm certain it will have just as many mileage if not more.

Bag is large and has many pockets. The material is a good design and has lasted well.
