The plug doesnt stay securely in any of my outlets, it sits very loosely in them. The plug looks a little odd and its very flimsy compared to normal plugs I have. (Picture shows the product plug with a clear cord and a normal black plug from some other device I have). I dont feel safe at all using this and I don't think they should even be allowed to sell it. No lights are worth your life, family, or home.Beyond that there are other issues. The plastic spherical light covers fell off on a lot of them and you cant get them to stay back on without glue. The default mode for the light is a blinking configuration, so if I use an outlet switch to turn them on and off, I'm stuck with flashing lights until I click the mode button seven times to get it to the steady mode. The control box is also very flimsy and the button rattles around when you try to use it.This may be one of the worst products I've purchased in a long time.

I absolutely love these decorative lights, I have bought them several times and will buy them again! I have them indoors in several windows and outdoors (on my porch) and they are long lasting and with the clear plastic wires are pretty in the daytime and at night. The soft glow makes them great night lights, too!! They are affordable, durable, good quality and really lovely and I recommend them highly

I stumbled upon these lights while searching for warm lights, that plugged in, and were approximately 16'.I was unaware the would be a box and button to adjust the modes. I have them plugged into an outlet that operates on a switch. Sometimes the lights come on steady lighting, sometimes they are in another mode.Because of the location, I have to get a step stool out to adjust them. Very inconvenient.The wiring is thin. Not a complaint, just a description. The light is warm. Not as bright as traditional small white Christmas lights. There is no remote control. The control is wired.

I was looking for some accent lighting for our entertainment center and this was a perfect size. Globes are nice and small and the light is a warm white color. There are issues (noted below), but for me, they work for what I want them to do so I'll keep them.The entire length is 16', but it's 14' from first bulb to last bulb (2' of extension that plugs into the wall).When first taken out the bag they smelled really, really bad. So bad I felt like it was affecting my allergies. I put the lights outside on my back deck for the afternoon and threw out the bag it came in. Not sure if it was the lights or the bag, but when I brought the lights back inside the smell was gone.The other funny thing is that there's no off switch. The button on the controller box just cycles between the different modes, but never turns it off. You need to unplug it to turn it off. When you do that, it doesn't remember the last mode it was on, so you have to cycle through the settings to get the one you want.Like I said, for me these are slight annoyances, I plug it in in the morning and forget about it until I go to bed.

These are a dangerous fire hazard. They don’t stay plugged into the outlet. Very loose electrical plugs. Made in China, throwing away immediately before we have a house fire.

These came w/out holes in the plug part. I never read that this was the case on the product description. Sent back!

Very bad quality. 1. This light string has a horrible chemical plastic smell, 2. The balls are an ugly low-grade plastic (like they came from the 1960s), and 3. The control button feels very cheap and seems like it would fall apart after very little use. I immediately decided to return these and put them in a ziplock bag so I don't have to smell them until I can go to the UPS store. I had chosen these because I need a non-battery-powered string of lights that is not super long -- it's hard to find plug-in light strings that are less than 30 feet long -- bummer!

I would not recommend this for the US customers. I have an old home and it barely fits into my outlet because it’s a small plug and it almost hangs loose. The same problem occurred with extension cord outlets. I did not see that these were UL listed but I didn’t think they would be safe. I very carefully unwound the string, One or two of the balls fell off and they don’t stay back on. I do like the remote but everything resets back to blinking lights. As soon as you unplug it and plug it back in again, you lose your settings. It’s a shame because they are cute and the tubing is relatively clear. I can’t imagine Amazon allowing this item to be sent to the US because of the plug.
