Cute
I wish it came with a pole or stick. Made one myself and it seems to work. Love the color. It looks so cute in the garden.

Love these
I add a new one of these every year to the south side of my condo’s exterior to help support the native bee and wasp population locally. I started with one and they just keep growing. :)Secret trick:1. use a wire brush (if it didn’t come with your hotel, most Americans get one to clean out their water bottle straws so look in your ‘weird utensil’ drawer) to remove all the extra wood shavings. The bees especially like a clean condo and will reject a tube for the smallest infraction.2. Then, if you’re in 9b (I’m in CA), hang it in late Feb for a March enticement for the earliest of natives visiting your garden. Adjust your timing accordingly but in my experience orchard masons are the first to unearth themselves from their cocoons so you want space available when they’re ready to lay eggs later in the month.3. Once they’re done your hotel will still be intriguing to all the helper wasps. I even had a bright turquoise mud dauber last summer, and she only eats black widows. The tubes seem to be too small for my area’s carpenter bees but you’ll still see them visit.

Tubes may be too big for mason bees
Bees seem to be ignoring/not interested in the tubes. They might be too big for mason bees. I will reassess review if things change.Update - the smaller tubes are getting activity ( a few are full)but the larger tubes are not. Bees crawl into them and exit straight away. I wish there were more smaller tubes.

BROKEN and very poor quality contruction
This bee house was so cute, I could hardly wait for it to arrive. The purple color was perfect. And then it arrived, damaged and in very poorly constructed condition... what a huge let down. Guess I should have believed all the other bad reviews that said this would happen. I was willing to try one more time, so sent back for an exchange. The replacement bee house arrived in mint green color! And also with the same poor construction. Had to return and ask for a refund. I'm still not sure if I was refunded, but it was not a positive experience, had to hassle with the returns, and still no bee house. SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE!!!!The odds of receiving a good bee house are NOT in your favor! Yes, it's super cute, but it will be a big disappointment, unless damaged goods are your thing. Buy at your own peril, you've been warned!
