3505 Sit Stand with Mushroom Glides, 5-star Reinforced Plastic Base, 22" to 32" Height Adjustment

This is not a "chair" for sitting in and if you want to sit you will hate it but it is a great middle ground when working at a standing desk between standing and sitting. It's the most ergonomic option I've found.

I was trying to have a chair that would sort of support me in a semi-standing position. This was just not comfortable to me and it kept slipping down. I would get it set to the proper height, sit/lean on it, and it would go down. I couldn't get it to stay at the proper level. It was at maximum height so it wasn't like I could set it higher so it would be the right height when I sat on it. Returned the chair.

If you want to make it look like you have seating available but not actually practically use the seating then this is the stool for you! They are very uncomfortable. Within a few minutes of sitting on them you feel like you have been riding a bicycle for hours. The price is ridiculous for such an uncomfortable device. I do not recommend these to anyone.

for my shop. Sit, stand, it doesn't matter. It is stable and adjustable.
