Looks & Works Like OEM - programmable!
As far as I can tell, this is an OEM unit. The buttons are laid out exactly like my old RC-834M remote that came with the Onkyo TX-NR414 A/V receiver (although a few of the labels are slightly different - no big deal). It is fully programmable and I was able to program it to my TCL screen and Sony Blu-Ray player.I was also VERY impressed with the responsiveness of this company's customer service. Ahead of the purchase they emailed me info on programming codes. Then something got messed up in the shipping tracking, and they were on it quickly to see that I got it on time!So it may be a somewhat pricey item, but worth it - other cheapie, supposedly OEM remotes I received from another company, were not programmable at all, and I returned them. So if you want something that's programmable, and doesn't just control the Onkyo receiver, then this one works well. (plus great customer service!)

NOT OEM remote
This is not an OEM remote. There is no display button, nor are there any muting buttons. The remote I received does not match the image of the remote for sale. Therefore, I am unable to program this remote to control my TV or DirecTV like I could with my original Onkyo remote.

Back to the original
I had picked up an aftermarket remote, thinking that there was no reason to spend for the OEM unit. That lasted about 6 months and the volume button started failing, which is why I replaced the original remote in the first place. (It lasted 7 years). So, back to the start line.

OEM ready to go Remote Control
Better than the original remote that came with the system! I kid you not. I use it everyday and it’s definitely OEM. No programming or set up. It links up and ready to go immediately!
