Once you go snugpak you will prefer one in every rucksack
My sleeping gear of choice. I have owned several snugpak sleeping systems including this model and tend to stand by this one the most. Lightweight and easy to stow (for me I use a molle water bladder pouch). It is made of quality material and keeps you super warm, and even soaking wet, climb inside and your body heat will dry the bag rather quickly. I put this model through the paces on all sorts of weather and for its rating, this is the best bag I prefer and only one I will continue to swear by. Pairing this with a snugpak basha and snugpak jungle hammock makes for a fast deployable sleeping system that is minimal in stowage and can handle all sorts of weather while enjoying some proper shuteye.

Good bag, small and portable. It really is "Snug"
It's a good bag. I did expand the bag using the expansion panel and it is a little tight still but usable. I'm 6'2", 250lbs. I'm not especially fat per se but it kind of feels like a second skin where I would just move the entire bag if I want to sleep on my side rather than move inside the bag if you know what I mean.I bought it mainly for the size when it packs down it is a good size and I can store it inside my backpack. All my other bags were too large for me to go camping. I haven't tried any other type of Snugpak but I have their blanket and that works well too.

Light and portable
In conjunction with a comforter and a blanket it kept me very warm.

Really nice bag for early spring or fall.
Really nice bag for early spring or fall. If you''re going to push into November or later you may want to move into the Elite 2 or 3. I used the bag this weekend and the temp went down to 38. I was dressed in jeans, a T shirt, sweatshirt and socks. I was a little cold but I made it through the night just fine. I love the quality of the bag, and all Snugpak products. It's very well made, strong stitching etc. It'll definitely last a long time.Another nice point is it's not down so getting it a little wet won't ruin it's insulation which is very helpful in the field.I plan on using this bag through the winter with the addition of a bag liner like this Sea To Summit Thermolite > http://amzn.to/2eRLcRfIt doesn't add any weight or size and adds about an extra 20 degrees to the bag. Since the small size of this bag is the best part the liner is definitely the way to go.The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is it's just a bit small at the bottom. I like bags that have the expanding baffles so you can move your legs a little more but they're about 3 or 4 times the price.I totally recommend this bag to anyone looking for an average use, cool to cold weather bag. If you're hiking a freezing mountain for a month, go for the Elite 3.

Love snugpak gear
Snugpak gear is great. I've bought two sleeping bags from them and they’re awesome. Super high quality and I trust the brand completely. I used the softie while camping in Iceland and it worked great. They aren't the smallest bags,(especially the 0 degree)but if you want to go any smaller you better cough up the doe for down. Love snugpak and will buy more of their gear if the need arises.

Not for outdoor use! Seller doesn't take reasonable returns!
This is basically two pieces of nylon sewn together, with a very thin insulation (quilt batting basically). The zipper broke the first night of use. I spent a week in the Cascades with nights of 40+ degree weather and froze my baguetts off - I ended up going with a piece of canvas and horse blanket and was comfortable. BUYER BEWARE, you can't return this unless it's unused and with original packaging, so I'm left with broken indoor sleeping bag. Stating this is a cheap product is being kind, I'm not sure how it's being used by the people who gave it a high rating but if you are looking for a good backpacking/horse packing bag this is not it!

If you hunt, camp, or backpack this is for you.
I purchased this sleeping bag for a number of reasons, the top reason is for my upcoming hunt this February in AZ where we have 2-3 days of just glassing and stalking so I knew the sleeping bag I needed had to be light weight, guess what? This sleeping bag is most definitely that. Because I also hike and camp in the summer time here in the southwest, I knew that the sleeping bag I need to get had to also be breathable or light if you will, this is most definitely that once you unzip it all the way and treat it like a blanket of sorts when it gets too warm. Now, I did quite a bit of research for when I go northeast for a moose hunt in Maine, I do not know yet if I will be staying outdoors or not, but I knew that I had to be warm so I purchased the 2go systems trifecta (google it) which works as a tarp, a shelter, or in my case a bivy. This product combined with the 2go systems trifecta as well as the klymit static V :Klymit Static V Lightweight Sleeping Pad, RECON Coyote-Sand (put both systems inside the bivy for maximum comfort) will give me enough comfort and support on those cold hunting/camping nights. In other words, this system can be a light-weight option for cold weather camping trips, a good investment choice if I am being honest.I am not paid by either companies nor Amazon, I paid out of pocket for all of the products mentioned above, I do believe if you are an outdoorsman like myself that you should invest in durable lightweight material that is mulitpurpose and this product is definitely that.

Big and Warm
First of all, I am big, 6' tall 290 lbs, with very broad shoulders (I wear a size 50 suit coat, and size XXL or XXXL t-shirts). I bought this bag because of the EPS (expanda panel system) because I usually don't fit in any light weight backpacking bags. I can verify that I do fit in this bag with the EPS extended, this is amazing! It's not super roomy once zipped up, but I can move a little, which is like heaven for a big guy. The next thing to know is that this bag is like a reflector oven! I used it in 55 degrees with high winds and can tell you that I was sweating in this bag fully zipped. I had to open up the bag and use it as a quilt over the top of me and was perfectly comfortable in 55 degrees. I have no doubt this bag will be fine for its rated temperature. I will update as I use it in colder temps.

Nice bag
Great little price and wraps up pretty tight. Great for a 72 hour bag. I bought mine for over land travel. Due to its on shipping I don’t know why it can not ship to PO Box

Decent bag would have given it an extra star if the thermal rating was more accurate. For myself as a warm sleeper I was cold at anything under 10 degrees C despite the bags "comfort rating" of 7 degrees.
