Lucky BrandWomen's Persian Carpet Tee

I gave it two stars because I do love the pattern. However, the fact that the original retail price of this shirt is in the $40 range is outrageous. Thank God I got it on sale, but it’s still nowhere near worth the $23 I paid.After just one wear, not yet having been washed/dried, the collar of the shirt is so stretched out I can now only wear it at home vs out in public. The sleeves are also stretched low enough to expose my entire armpit and bra band. All this and I literally wore it to a July 4th cookout. Nothing even remotely rigorous took place.Material is cheap, feels it and is nearly see through. Aside from the pattern, there are no positives to list. Save your money. I didn’t and I regret it. It has become an exorbitantly priced sleep shirt.

I am a size 6-8 so I'm never sure whether to get a Small ( 4-6) or a Medium (8-10). It can go either way with Lucky Brand. I got the Small and it was a little tight in the shoulders and belly. I exchanged it for the Medium and it was a little loose in the top but fit better than the Small. A classy tee shirt with the same subtle colors as a Persian rug and goes well with jeans or khaki. Update 4 months later : I lower my original rating due to unfortunate persistent odor reminiscent of charcoal and the development of shredding and holes large enough to put my finger through in the fabric despite always washing in a mesh bag and hanging to dry. I find Viscose fabric can be a bit delicate especially perhaps if oil gets on it and not washed out right away.

I love Lucky Brand and have many shirts!!! This shirt is beautiful and fit well the first time I wore it. I washed as recommended and when I put it on the next time I wanted to wear it I realized that the shirt "grew" and is now HUGE on me. Such a shame because I really loved this top.

I seriously think this must have been a knock off of Lucky Brand. The material was low-quality, transparently thin, and threads were coming loose right out of the plastic. Returned.

This T-shirt is really well made and the fit is very flattering (hides tummy pooch perfectly). I love the mandala design that's on the font and I get a lot of compliments when I wear it. I bought a Large, even though I sometimes wear an XL (I am a 12-14). I'm glad I did! The XL would have been too roomy. I know from experience that Lucky's shirt sizing is usually pretty generous.

Received this yesterday and debated sending it back. Got it on sale here but truly not worth the price. This shirt actually shows little resemblance to the shirt shown online in ad. The colors appear muted, almost faded. Super thin fabric. You cannot see through it but at one time I would have expected to find this quality at a deep discount store or even a garage sale. But then I also believe $5.00 would be a reasonable price. (I sew and can assure you that I would never purchase such shoddy material. There is no special sewing technique involved. Very simply made, seams appear poorly finished. With a pattern and fabric, I could easily make this shirt in an hour. It's very simply put together. )Also, if you happen to be petite, please note that the neckline might be just a bit lower than it looks in the photo. Honestly, this is my first time to buy a Guess product but I usually have good name brand clothes, often discounted. I am left to wonder if this is typical of Guess merchandise? If so, I am left with definite determination never to buy this brand again! Or is it counterfeit???Most positive thing I can say: it does indeed run true to size.

This shirt is attractive, but I'm not too excited to wear it. The fabric is very cheap, it has that chemical smell that always worries me, and when I washed it by hand in my white porcelain bathroom sink, the water look so dirty (it's not from soak, and no, it's not fabric dye either), that I ended up rinsing it over and over before I hung it do dry. I still don't feel comfortable wearing it yet. I'll have to wash it a second time and see what comes out now.That being said, the fabric doesn't look like it will last more than a season. It is very cheap and you can see through when you hold it up to a light (not while wearing it).So, it's not worth sending back, and I won't buy it again.I gave it four stars because others do really like it, but if you prefer higher quality products that will last in your closet and you aren't put off by chemicals, then you would probably love this shirt.

SIZE UP, I buy Lucky shirts all the time and needed to go from my normal Small (or XS) to a Medium. Also this shirt had a really odd odor, almost like Clay. It took 3 washes for me to stop noticing it. That all being said, I love this shirt.

Like it so much that even bought a second one. Wish more Lucky Brand products were available.
