Creative Haven Spectacular Sea Life Designs Coloring Book (Adult Coloring Books: Sea Life)

My nephew started to get into coloring but when he saw some of my books he said he wouldn't want anything that was small & intricate if he were to get a coloring book. I tried to find some that had nothing to small for him to color & that he would like. That's when I found this book. He loved it!

I prefer pictures that are less 'entangled' - pictures are too 'busy' and the backgrounds drown out the main object of the picture.

Great designs, like they fill the page as well. Good paper, takes all brands of pencils. Gels work too, one sided pages, insert blank page behind it for any bleed thru.

Disappointing. Usually Angela Porter has lots of clever, innovative designs but this had a lot of the same, not exciting stuff.

Angela Porter latest book is as gorgeous as all the previous ones, filled with detailed zen tangle type sea life designs.The paper is medium weight thickness, white paper. Images are single sided and pages are perforated for easy removal.Coloured pencils do work fabulously on this paper.Basically you will get all you can expect from a Creative Haven colouring book.

Ich habe jetzt schon mehrere Hefte aus der Reihe von "Creative Haven" und bin durchweg begeistert. Papier und Motive sind immer gut. Die Motive sind immer einseitig und die Seiten sind perforiert zum heraustrennen. Auch der Preis der Hefte ist akzeptabel und man kann sich auch mal ein Heft mehr kaufen. In dieser Reihe gibt es eine sehr große Auswahl an den verschiedensten Motiven so das wirklich für jeden was dabei ist. In den Heften sind immer etwas leichtere Motive bis hin zu sehr anspruchsvollen Motiven. Also auf ganzer Linie perfekt :)

Smooth paper, suitable for pencils or gel pens (no bleed through). The images are bordered, interesting, probably an intermediate at least book. I like the perforations. It makes it easy to remove a page and easier to have the left side of the book not interfering as you colour more towards the back, if you don't want to remove pages. I think the images would like good coloured either more fancifully or more subdued.
