Walnut Hollow Innkeeper Sign, 6 by 18"

I have bought this brand of wood plaques before and have always been pleased. They are a nice shape, a good weight, good quality, and priced appropriately. This piece I believe would have been the same but it was not. However, I cannot fault the brand for it. My particular item came from the Amazon warehouse. The item was marked as in good condition it was stated it would even come in the original packaging. This was not true. The item was shrink wrapped and upon opening, I realized quickly that it had been run over!!! There was black rubber from tires all over the piece and a long deep gouge along with other various marks and gouges. It was not worth it to me to send back. I had to sand very heavily to even make it usable but still could not get it all out. I used it anyway for a distressed sign and not the sign I had planned to use it for. You can see the long gouge I could not get out in the finished product. Hoping it looks as if it was purposely done lol. Again, I cannot fault the company because I am usually very pleased. This was an error due to the Amazon Warehouse. I’ll give the product 5 stars because I know this, but I’m losing faith in the Warehouse with the recent mix up of orders and products in worse condition than described.

Meets needs. I bought this to display my late mother's rolling pin. I got some cute hooks on etsy made from a silver fork and spoon. It will hang over a photo of an Irish pie shop called "the pie maker". I wish mom could see it.

Used to make a sign for my Pastor's office. Turned out great!

Good for my needs. I'm mounting a ships oil lantern on it.Mine had a small knot on one side that will mostly disappear with the stain I'm applying.The curved edges at the top and bottom could have been better sanded.The picture shows the sign with one coat of Minwax.

I painted this sign a pretty green, and used washi tape to spell out my name in 4” letters, and it hangs in my craft room.

I got this for a project and it holds us really well. It was a little too thing but I still made it work. I will definitely buy this again for another project.

I am making a project for my bathroom and this is exactly what I wanted! I will take pictures once it's completed!

No predrilled holes on the back, would think that would be standard. So thin, afraid to drill hole myself.
