See previous first impression below...So as I mentioned in my initial review, I bought the panty version in two different sizes (M and L) and the thong version in L. Unfortunately, either I'm at the wrong size or the product I received was defective because my thong version was 10 times tighter than the medium in the panty version. As I was attempting to get it past my hips I believe the zipper broke. So that's useless...Now for the panty version. The medium works very well and fit me nicely without too much trouble. Was wearing tight over it so it didn't actually ride up.However, the HUGE downside is that you can't pee in this thing. Which I didn't even think about initially. I wore this for a dinner and thankfully didn't have to use the restroom at the place. It would have been a nightmare. As it was I didn't realize until I got home that in order for me to pee I have to....take the entire thing off. That's multiple hooks, the zipper, the straps...yeah it was not a pleasant experience. So I'm back to needing to find the right size in the thong version because that's just not going to work well.Original Review:I thought for sure this would be tight to get on but it really wasn't?I'm 5'6 and somewhere in the 170-180 lb range at the moment. I bought myself a Large and a Medium in the style that doesn't have a thong and a Large in the one that does. So far I've tried the first two.Pro:1. Yes it def has a slimming effect2. It smooths down bulges and rolls and whatever you're trying to hide3. For me personally, the Medium fits comfortably enough while still smoothing things out.Cons:1. It rides up. Which means it's cutting into your crotch.2. The area designed for your butt does not do anything? I actually have an hourglass figure complete with a sizeable backside. This thing offers no resistance to staying in place...3. Maybe I'm not sized correctly but the fabric does fold up a little. If you're wearing a figure-hugging dress the butt area may show a little along with some of the folds in this thing.I might order a small and give it a try. I don't really wear Smalls but maybe I need to size down to get more traction.

Really happy with this shaper! I purchased the one with shorts in a medium. I'm about 5'3 160lbs. At first I was nervous because it looked tiny and was difficult to get over my thighs/hips, but because of other reviews that said it's tough to get on I stuck it out and pulled it on. So glad I did! My bf had to help zip me up and I zipped my belly skin a few times, but so worth it. I'm now actually excited to wear my summer dresses I previously thought I couldn't pull off. This totally slims my tummy pooch I have ended up with after 2 c-sections. My only complaint is the shorts are too tight for my large caboose and cut in a cheeky style so my butt is kinda cut into fourths. It's visible under clothing, but the rest of me looks so good I don't really care. I only ordered the shorts for modesty under dresses but since these are crotchless (didnt realize lol), they're kinda pointless. If you have a large backside, you might want to go with a different style. Also the hooks on the straps are made out of crappy plastic and I doubt they'll last long but we'll see. Overall, pretty dang happy for the price. Totally brought back a long lost confidence.

It’s a great shaper, very comfortable but I hate the butt area, not sure if it’s bc I’ve got a very long torso or just the way it’s made but it doesn’t lift my butt. They should add a stretchy fabric to the region, it’s almost too small in my butt area. But I like the overall product and I am keeping it. I’m 5’7” range from 173-176lbs I wear a 34-36C bra and size 6-8jeans and I got a medium/large I did have to lay down to zip it up, lol

Seriously buy this!!! So I've had about 4 different waist trainers and let me start but saying this is seriously the best even though I don't feel it's a waist trainer. This is something you wear with a little black dress. Most waist trainers show that you are wearing one. I don't think anyone can tell I am wearing it.I am 5'4 170 pounds. My boobs are like a 38ddd my waist is about 30. So I got a M and I feel like I could have gone smaller. But this will definitely do for now. I'll probably buy the small later. This is super comfortable and easy to put on.My other waist trainers are such a struggle and I always feel like I can't breathe or eat which is sometimes great.I love the zipper. I love that it came with 2 different options for the hooks. I love that it goes up to my back to cover this awful back fat.This is also a good reminder to stick to my diet. I will for sure buy the small and just keep the M because I don't feel like returning it.The only thing I didn't like was the butt. I got this one thinking it was going to make my booty look a little bigger but it looks smaller lol and it covers your butt instead of going around it. It also isn't on my butt.

I needed something for after my hysterectomy that wouldn't irritate my incisions. I hate when they squish my already round ass into a flat unflattering shape. This one does not do that. I specifically wanted crotchless because I easily get yeast infections if the fabric doesn't breathe. I'm going to add my weight and height because I hate when people review items without doing so. I ordered a medium. I'm 5 foot even. And between 135-140. I was stuck between ordering a medium and a large and I'm very happy I got a medium! It fits perfectly with room to tighten when I lose some of my post surgery bloat. I only wish it had more hooks inside the bodice.

This shape wear is very comfortable. I try to avoid shape wear at all cost due to the discomfort however this one fits like a glove. I’m a size large but I sized down to a medium. And wow. I look so snatched when wearing this shape wear. My only dislike is it doesn’t hold and lift my butt the way I had envisioned. It cheeks come out at the bottom a little. Not too bad but not what I wanted. Hence the 4 stars.. Overall great shape wear to wear to work All day where you’re not trying to look ultra sexy!

Our product is to small so I’m sending it back and going to get a larger size instead

Very, very well made item, I didn't expect the high standard and quality. It's a bit fiddly to get on and do the hooks and eyes under the zip but gives a nice smooth line, especially from the front and back view. I have a few dresses I don't wear much because I'm feel a bit self conscious about a couple of areas in them because of the fabric and cut, but this gives the smooth look I hoped for. Not worn it for long period yet, but it seems surprisingly comfortable. I bought the nude one in the pull on g-string style also, again, excellent quality and very well made, but this one was a little too snug therefore I didn't think it would be as comfortable as the zip style, I returned it and will order a larger size - regardless of that one being a little bit too difficult to get into, and breathe in, haha, I'm a regular size 12 and would say that size medium is the one to go for if you're a 12, even a 10, but may be too snug if you're a 14.

Fast shipping. A little uncomfortable because it's so tight but that's the point. Only reason I gave it a 4 is because the size chart is not accurate. I purposely went a size up based on the chart and it's a good thing I did because it was very tight and by the specs on the chart it should have been 2 sizes too big for me.

All her party-dress and clothes for the special occasion are size 2 so she wanted to try some body-control undergarments. Many reviews for these products reported that it runs little small so we decided to go for Medium (which is meant for size 6). When it arrived it looked bit smaller than what we expected but had good stretch and quality material so she decided to try. It was a real struggle though!!! After jumping, rolling on the floor, some acrobat and use of a spatula to tuck in extra bulge she was able put it on... and it was perfect. She gained some shape too! The love-arms reduced significantly. However, she complained that she felt uncomfortable and may not be able to wear it for a long time. She thought a Large size would work. I think if she had tried for a long time she might have got used to it. When put on shapewear one should gain the shape of the shapewear and not the other way around - if the shapewear gains the shape of one's body then it defeats the purpose! So we decided to return all of them instead of replacing with Large size! Well, she still looks perfect to me!

Much too small for me. Wish it had fit! Had a baby and wanted to use it for postpartum. Not a chance. Came in way too small of a size. Ended up giving it to my sister!! However it’s made well and held up for her little fashion shows for school. Make sure you check your sizing before you buy it!

I order a medium and it fit me perfect but I would go a little smaller just to get that small waist effect but that will come as "Beauty is pain" lol
