Works as advertised, easy to install, only pulls the screen door closed, trailer door is too heavy.

Looked like a good product just would not attach to our door. There is not a channel on the screen door to fig it into. I thought about modifying it to fit bug then it probably would not work well.

Ordered correct length for door (28”). All good but plastic tube covering return spring and return pull was 2 1/2” short. Appears mfg mixed with a smaller door size. Picked up 3/8” aluminum pipe cut to correct length and is working great. Great product if parts were correct! A exchange appears to be questionable if wouldn’t happen again from other commenters.

This was a bit tricky, though easy, to install. The screw provided didn't hold for more than 3 door openings/closings. We ended up using the rivet. It is very helpful when wrestling 3 dogs in/out knowing the door does close behind you.

We were worried that the spring or recoil action would be too great but found that it's just right. It doesn't slam and it doesn't close to soon. You may have to keep your hand or elbow on it but it doesn't annoy me. And that's the point.

Good addition to my travel trailer since I regularly forget to pull the door close- this closes the screen door from me! Installing was a little challenging and I think best if you have two pairs of hands - or be a little clever with hand tools. For the price, this is a very good solution to a simple problem.

This is a great screen door closer but the instructions on the order page for measuring are very misleading. You actually need the next size up if you follow those instructions. Please read questions and answers and reviews before ordering. Once I got the right size,product works well as described.

We live in southern GA, in the Gnat Capital of the World. Making sure the door handle access door is closed can drive you crazy as you swat and smash gnats in the RV. Install took less that 5 minutes, including cleaning the area it was mounted. Easy to follow directions, immediate results. I imagine this will also be what cat and bird owners who travel with their pets will find this something they have to install.Just make sure you don't press on the bar unit until you have it lined up and placed exactly where you want it. The adhesive tape is the same type 3M tape used to attach trim to cars.....virtually impossible to easily remove after it makes contact with the surface it attaches to.The only thing to be aware of, the spring will snap the access door shut. Small children might find their hand gets banged as the access door is closed. However, there is no other way to make sure it will close and stay closed

This Screen Shot Closer works really well on our used Lance travel trailer which does NOT have a Lippert door. My husband was able to make a minor alteration & it fits perfectly.

Project works as expected. Measure your door first to get the right sized unit.

Nice product to keep you rv door shut ! Easy to install ! It can be install on other door than the Lippert one but too make sure take 1 size bigger than you need so this way you can cut it as you need and you don't end up like me and orthe an other one ...
